The staff were incredibly friendly, and both the service and food were exceptional. The price per person ranged from £10 to £20. Overall, I'd rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 out of 5.

Food was fresh but unfortunately cold. It would help if plates were hot to keep food hotter for longer. Eggs on toast , both items were cold. Eggs and bacon on the full breakfast were cold too. But lovely place, friendly staff and will return to try it out again. The staff here is very knowledgeable. The first thing they did when we were seated was ask if either of us had any allergies, and they promptly informed the kitchen. There are plenty of gluten-free options available, and all sandwiches can be made with gluten-free bread. They also offer a variety of gluten-free cakes and desserts. The menus clearly indicate which items are gluten-free. I would definitely come back!

The food, service, atmosphere, and staff are absolutely amazing. This place is a hidden gem with top-quality offerings. If you're staying at the Heron Lake Retreat, it's just a five-minute walk away. The restaurant is connected to a craft shop that features jewelry, cards, gifts, antiques, and more—a truly lovely find.
