"the restaurant gerardo casa is located in the Asturian village of prendes and closes on Mondays, nights except Friday and 15 days in January. the restaurant room offers place for 120 guests. It is a coquette room, very spacious, with large windows with a visillo. In its decoration the pastel shades predominate. This restaurant is one of the shrines of the new Asturian cuisine. "Tienen un menú del cual te dicen que no les queda nada de lo que pone en el menú, te ofrecen otras cosas a cambio Y TE LAS COBRAN. Comes solo medio menú y te cobran el menú y las cosas que te ofrecen a cambio (cuando te han dicho no queda X pero te puedo poner Y a cambio). Pasó con el segundo plato y el postre. No volveremos. "Genial restaurante si os apetece tomar buen pescado y marisco, además de alguna opción más “moderna”. Pedimos unas croquetas que estaban deliciosas, un pan bao de sardinas, nachos y guacamole que nos sorprendió gratamente y una lubina salvaje al horno para compartir, exquisita y fresca. De postre, flan de queso y arroz con leche, caseros y riquísimos. Destacamos también la atención de la camarera, pues nos trató maravillosamente y en especial a nuestro peque. Volveremos!"

"A place I have been going to for many years whenever I can. They are phenomena with seafood and fish I don't give them 5 stars because they fail in the desserts, a luxury meal with a luxury product, deserves some posts to live up to. "Simply the best meal we had in northern Spain. Waiter was tremendous , food was awesome. Kids had octopus , local sausage dish, Jumbo shrimp we have a the 40 euro set meal for 2 (dry meat and goat cheese starter, beef steak, ice cream, coffee . We are the portions are HUGE and we live in the USA! Try the local sidre (cider which they pour from a height to get the oxygenation at 2.50 euros a liter ! Even with the kids drinks the final bill was under $100 USD for 5 . The shrimps were about 12 huge ones so we really over ordered (but finished it just! so I’d say for a family or 3 or4 “small plates “ and you’ll be fine. Waiter even gave me a bar glass to go when I ordered a sidre bottle to take back to the hotel. Off the beaten tourist track we were the only tourists. I wish we could back again tonight but are heading west. Amazing memory you won’t be disappointed."
