"Second day in Zamora, a Saturday, we stumbled upon El Horno and ate in the basement level dining room. Got the last table. We ordered the fish platter for 2 or 3 and it was delicious. Steak fish, one white and one salmon, shrimp, langostines, calamari done 2 ways, asparagus and potatoes on a bed of lettuce. The food was moist, perfectly prepared and more than we could consume. With a bottle of white wine, a liter of water and 2 coffees, it cost about €44. A pleasant surprise."

CELIACO. Trato excelente, tenían amplia variedad de comida sin gluten y si no se adaptan. Carecen de pan sin gluten. Sheila la camarera mucho conocimiento de la celiaquía y muy atenta con el tema.

We decided not to have an evening meal but opted for tapas. We were not disappointed. The waitress was superb and the tapas selection was excellent. Our tapas meal with lots of wine and came to 19 euros. We speak good Spanish but it is not necessary as you just point to the tapas your wan.t

It is truly a local place where you can get a delicious snack or meal. They have a wide variety and you can see some of the dishes at the bar. They have multiple floors for nice dining or a bar/cafe if you just want to be quick. Several beer and wine choices. Everything is homemade. Bread and desserts made daily. Highly recommended!
