"Organya is pretty much off the beaten track, although all of Lerida is quite rural and that 's why some friends rented a 'casa rural ' and invited us along to escape the city and breathe clean air. When we went into Organya, we were on a mission to buy certain things as out accommodation was in the middle of nowhere, so when I went into Portal alone to have a drink while the others were buying cakes etc, I was very pleasantly surprised by how accommodating they were to my heavily English accented Spanish, especially in an area not overly known for pro Spanish sentiment. Had a beer at the bar and chatted with a couple of locals while said cake was being bought and like many places, locales like foreigners making a linguistic effort. The bar staff were very nice to me even allowed me to use the bathroom before knowing I was about to order anything from the bar. If you find yourself in Organya, it would be worth a visit as the people are nice not sure about food though as we didn 't go to eat, and besides, the time I spent in the bar was between lunch and dinner, so pretty quiet and chilled. Do bear in mind that I had no indication people in the town and in the bar spoke English, but maybe that was because I was speaking to them in Spanish. It might be a consideration the take into account..."

Siempre paramos cuando vamos para el pirineo, tienen la comida muy rica, nos dejaron entrar con el perrito porque hacía mucho frío. Sin duda siempre desayunamos aqui!

Un menú del día contundente y buenísimo. Hay muchos trabajadores comiendo aquí. El chico ha sido super amable. Nos ofreció entrar dentro con nuestro perro, porque hacia frio. Si volvemos a pasar por aquí pararemos sin dudarlo.

Parada obligatoria cuando vas camino de Andorra. El local está muy transitado por habituales pero, también por gente como nosotros que andamos de paso hacia el principado. Para echar unos buenos bocatas o torradas. La butifarra está especialmente buena.
