Excellent homemade kitchen. Own receipts, same high quality in years. Duck confit best I've ever had. So do croquetas de jamon. Very friendly service, reasonable prices.

we were here for dinner and were very satisfied with our choice. price vs quality is very good. eating was absolutely great and the service was excellent. try it, they will not be disappointed!

we went to lunch. very good service and attention to our table. friendly welcome not easy to park in this opposite local comfort eating and well presented also highly affordable recommended! I hope that helps

great little friendly place near catalina market. the menu was really good and we had cold watermelone suppe tagliatelle watermelone suppe was superb followed by john dory with spinat, kartoffeln and alioli. finished with orange ice cream, the oranges of...Soller was told me. that was very good.

Hello, I recommende this restaurant, Es Mercat! Great cooking, this is a place to take a diner in a nice atmosphere : the manager is pleasant and smilling. You have a narrow choice because of fresh product. If you go privilege fish who are excellent!...The place in Santa Catalina district is near the center (around minutes by walking from the cathedral), and has the chance to not be in the touristic ground. Thanks one more time for the meal, very nice and good. Hope to come back soon!

Been to this place about times over the past two years and have never been disappointed. The changes daily and is written on a blackboard outside Bread and olives Starter Main Dessert Glass of wine All for !! All the portions are...generous and filling without the feeling of being over faced or stuffed afterwards. We have to thank a review in the Majorca Daily Bulletin for highlighting this restaurant to us. It turned out to be the culinary find of our stay in Palma. We each opted for the set price course dinner at euros which...was preluded by a superb taster of courgette soup; and all this for euros. The four courses were each outstanding, in both food quality and presentation; these were complemented by excellent service. The restaurant is quite small, and on the mid-week evening we were there it was busy with local clientele.

We spotted this restaurant as we were walking oats and we we redrawn in by the menu of the day for euros we weren't sure what we were going to get and the waiter just asked if we would prefer meat or fish. We...went for meat and we weren't disappointed. We were brought a green salad to start, which was light but full of flavour. Then they brought out egg and chips, which doesn't sound particularly exciting but it was excellent. For mains we were brought steak cooked simply but served with a few vegetables and a rich red wine jus. Finally we were brought a brownie served with custard and ice cream. Wow, I'm glad other people have not nad to put up with the horrible food we were served in this place! The fellow was so lovely, we felt so sorry for him that he was being coecorced to serve such rubbish. We really thought that...he would be closing soon. Glad to find out that perhaps there was a temporary chef in when we ate there, we honestly couldn't even eat our main course. The first course was boring but edible, thank goodness there was enough of it to get me through the rest of the day. I was hoping for cresh, market ingredients, as we imagined by the name proximity to the market itself...we were disappointed to get overcooked mush to start, and old, overcooked fish. Wouldn't have eve...
