The place is small, neat, the food is good, but the service lacks proper attention. Probably we would not come back.

And great coffee with pretty latte art. Very neighbourhoodish lots of characters in there. Their French toast is an experience.

Relaxed place with fab coffee, french toast (white chocolate, raw sugar, mint and a yummy chia pudding (lots of other things aswell ofc). Location a bit off, but very friendly atmosphere hipster feel, but in a really chill and good way.

instead of a complicated menu of coffee drinks (macchiato, piccolo, cortado, cappuccino, latte, etc. botschaft osten keeps it easy: they can choose between espresso, black, white or filter; and between three sizes (4oz, 6oz, 8oz.) but don't worry if you want a flat white, they'll know what to do!

Had an absolutely undrinkable decaf flat white here recently. Filter coffee is better but not great tasting. Toasties are delicious. Staff are generally quite moody, it can feel as though you're bothering them when you want to order. a beautiful place to see the world through the picture window with a coffee. my latte was fab. on the first look at the menu I have a little to the trips for sandwiches. but my haggis toastie turned out both delicious and enormous when he drowned in butter. many of filing, and the discs of good brown brot were three quarters of a customs thick. it was so generous that I took half of it home.

as always east london never fails to offer a hipster-eatery, and botschaft ost really fits this title. with excellent breakfast, good trips and even better coffee, embassy east is an oasis for food lovers in the busy hoxton market street. It's unassuming, low-key, understated. The frontage is ordinary, the decor relatively plain... and I'm guessing that the image and ethos is entirely intentional. Ostentatious is NOT a word you'd ever associate with this fantastic little eatery run by a couple of Kiwi guys. The superb...food, made with fresh, tasty ingredients and often with a creative twist on old favourites, just seems to speak for itself. I may have visited on April, but it's no joke when I state for the record that the barista made me the best coffee I've had in London (and I've lived here years it was so good, I ordered a second just to see if I was imagining it...
