food and service were five stars. with my wife and we both had the chicken of special hunter and it was wonderful! very recommended if they stand for some good foods at affordable prices

We were here two weekends in a row with our young guys and absolutely loved it. So many options that people are so friendly, and it is a great social company for the community as well. What is not to love?! In the two weeks we had the following, all vegan: starters • garlic mushrooms • bruschetta • falafel • nachos Mains • sincean Parmesan • moussaka • jackfruit wrap with chunky chips • lasagna pudding • chocolate amaretto cheesecake All absolutely delicious!

My family and I have visited this restaurant two weekends in a row and we have thoroughly enjoyed it each time. There are so many options to choose from, the staff are very friendly, and it is a wonderful social enterprise for the community. What's not to love?! We just had a starter of vegan chili nachos, extremely good. It was apple and violife mix.but was nicely melted. Had lentils moussaka for main, which was nice, not as good as the starter, but still good, loads of cheese. Service was great. So many vegan and vegetarian options available meant that we did not choose as in most restaurants and a good variation. All chicken dishes can be prepared with a side as required. Only down there was that they were out of the desert I wanted. They gave me vegan chocolate ice cream instead of that was not on the menu so that was good.

We recently tried the vegan chilli nachos as a starter and they were fantastic. We could tell it was a mix of applewood and violife cheese, and it was perfectly melted. For our main course, we had the lentil moussaka which was good, although not quite as amazing as the starter. There was plenty of cheese on top, which was a nice touch. The service was excellent and we were impressed by the wide range of vegan and vegetarian options available. We were happy to learn that all chicken dishes could be made with seitan upon request. The only downside was that they were out of the dessert I wanted, but they kindly offered me a vegan chocolate ice cream instead. Overall, a great dining experience.

Located in the heart of Whitley Bay, this charming and welcoming bistro is a must-visit. During vegan restaurant week, we had the pleasure of trying their three-course menu for only £17. The starters, including battered vegetable tempura with coriander hummus, and spinach, garlic, and cashew nut cream ravioli with spinach, walnut, and chilli pesto, were fresh and bursting with flavor. For mains, I enjoyed the lentil moussaka with grilled aubergines, béchamel sauce, garlic bread, and delicious melted free-from cheese, while my wife savored the layered veg pie with mashed potatoes and onion gravy. Both dishes were exceptional. The desserts were just as impressive with a heavenly sticky toffee...
