Absolutely amazing service from Luke Was celebrating my in-laws 60th wedding anniversary He was so friendly helpful and polite He couldn’t do enough to make their experience so special. A real credit to your company Great customer service Food was also amazing Thank you again Luke for making the evening so special

Very nice venue overall. But watch the bar prices and check your bill. We were charged 35p extra on each transaction for alcohol . 2 instant black coffees , served in cheap y matching mugs . Should have been£ 8.50 but we were charged £9.65. That’s when I checked bill as you that amount couldn’t be halved. So beware

Excellent gluten free afternoon tea. Have been to some well known London afternoon tea’s and this was hands down the best food. Special mention for Tara Robinson who was responsible for the scones and pastries, a talent to watch. Staff were very attentive and the setting amazing. Had a family meal here recently. Food was fine, not exceptional. Menu fairly limited. Service poor for the kind of place it is. For example had a bottle of wine which was just put on the table unopened. Waiter didn’t pour. My beer, a peroni, hadn’t been in the fridge and was therefore served warm. Location is however beautiful and a walk in the ground recommended.

We had a reunion for 60 people The hotel and grounds are amazing snd the staff were superb Nothing was too much trouble for them Justice perfectly organised the event before we arrived and Warren was there on the day. He couldn’t have been more helpful We all had a fantastic time and said we would book our next reunion there in 2026 We would all thoroughly recommend it

Afternoon tea was OK… nothing special. Setting was beautiful, sandwiches and scones were wonderful but cakes were fussy and overly fragrant so we didn’t eat them. One of us doesn’t drink tea so ordered coffee, which arrived stone cold. Our original table offered was a very low coffee table surrounded by sofas, not ideal for comfort or digestion so we moved to a proper table with chairs. When we paid they tried to add a £40 service charge for our table of 6, we declined to pay as the service was mediocre at best. Speisekarte ansehen

No longer offered the buffet style starters and sweets. For £32.50 I would expect a table cloth rather than a basic formica table. Starter was small but OK, although service was slow. Turkey was a joint and not what I would expect for the price, so had the beef. Veg was average, Yorkshire pudding was awful and we both left it. Pudding was my best course, and to top it all a service charge is added to the bill. Don't think I would hurry back, shame because it was a birthday celebration and we have been several times pre pandemic.

Amazing venue for my company hosted training course. Great facilities and food menu. such a shame that the late night bar service evaporated at 10pm no support for the staff trying to serve late drinks to residents Amazingly arrogant duty manager at 11:45 advising that the hotel bar was closed even to residents without any apology or flexibility. so disappointing for such a lovely hotel. Entirely ruined my lasting memory of this place. What happened to the concept of a service industry where you wish to keep your paying customers happy and encourage repeat business? I won't be repeat booking here in a hurry

Poor management, this is supposedly a top wedding venue! I Weeds galore right at the entrance. Plants in need of dead heading and some care. Not a good start! Beer pumps not regularly cleaned out, as there was high evidence of half drunk pints everywhere, having purchased several pints I can see why, having worked within the hospitality industry for nearly 30 years, and having done my cellar management course, the beer was rank! And supposedly a premium beer! The spirits and pump soft drinks left a lot to be desired as well. The same round cost 3 different prices depending on who served you, each time it went up!
