"Every evening, I was greeted with warm smiles and the comforting atmosphere of the pub. I indulged in their delightful house special, a boil-in-the-bag curry that was nothing short of fantastic. Although the menu was somewhat limited, I was thrilled to discover their curry and pint night, where I jokingly asked for it to be "hot enough to make me cry," and they delivered! The dish, priced at $7.95, came with a poppadum, naan, and a wonderfully spicy chutney sauce. I enjoyed it so much that I went back for another one the following night! The seating area was stylish and intimate, perfect for a romantic evening. The bar had a cheerful and welcoming vibe; I found myself chatting with a friendly gentleman sporting high-visibility clothing and a few missing teeth who was more than happy to strike up a conversation with a stranger. I truly felt at home, which is a hallmark of a great pub. If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy good company, I highly recommend this restaurant. Bring your friends, your family, or even someone you bump into on the street—this spot is a treasure. Always come here at least once when I am down at my caravan, never had a bad meal. Food is fantastic, large portions and great value for money! Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

This pub is lovely! The kids had a great time watching the football while enjoying some pool games. The staff were friendly, and the selection of drinks and food was excellent. We will definitely return!

I had a wonderful meal—specifically the ribeye, and it was absolutely delicious! The portion was quite large; I did my best to finish it but couldn't manage. The atmosphere was lovely and friendly, making me feel right at home. However, the lady who served us seemed a bit annoyed, which was unfortunate. We will definitely pass along our highest compliments to the chef during our next visit to Cornwall.

We are staying in the village for the week on holiday with our 5 month old. We popped down for Curry Night on Wednesday after it was recommended in the visitors book. It was DELICIOUS!!! A curry with a slow build up of spice, served with a HUGE popadom, naan bread and rice (we had half and half and had it with some chips too! . Also got three very tasty chutneys to munch through!
