"Stopped here to go for breakfast on Tuesday but winter hours are reduced so we continued to walk up the beach We came back on Thursday for breakfast and we are so glad we did The sun was shining so we sat outside on the terrace The breakfast was incredible, really yummy and honestly the best breakfast we had in Cornwall during our visit Menu had a good selection and all the staff were very friendly Great spot to grab a drink and watch the world go by or the surfers Super dog friendly too"

"This is our 2nd time to Toast and again we wasn't disappointed! We were the first people in, which we had to book the day before and it was the last booking available. So hence the photo shows an empty restaurant. But with in half hour the place had filled up! We shared all our tapas dishes and my goodness each 1 tasted amazing! Just the right size to share for 2! "Not sure what the hype is about We visited after being recommended by multiple people and seeing glowing reviews online. It was nothing above average. Basic looking restaurant (not aesthetic like it looks online) toilets were very dangerous and didn’t close or you’d get trapped in! Greeted by a rude lady who was too busy on her phone when we walked in and didn’t raise her head to greet us. Waitress was okay but hardly spoke. Took our food drink order awkwardly by just staring at us not even asking. Never checked to see if our food was okay. At the end of the meal we hadn’t even asked for the bill and she put the card machine in our face! We still had 45 minutes left on our table but they couldn’t be quicker to hurry us out! Food was good but way over priced! I had the Tempeh Korean Bibimbap which was £17 for some greasy tempeh, plain rice, stale Asian salad an egg. Overall very average, glad we went to see what it was about but we won’t be back again"

"Great setting, Great service, Great food! As locals this was our first visit for a few years. We were with. Friend who has a few mobility issues and struggles with the cold. The table were allocated was by the door to the outside area which was a bit too cold and drafty for our friend. After mentioning this we were offered a table at the back which was perfect…thanks! Both food and service was first class. We chose a few small plates to start, and a mix of Seafood linguine, massama curry and a halloumi wrap for mains. Everything was made with quality ingredients, tasty and appetising and served by friendly attentive staff. Absolute couldn’t fault anything. Thank you"

"Visited on a Friday night with family. We booked a table which is just as well. I doubt we would have been able to just walk in. Really slow service to begin with – took an age to get some menus and drinks. OK, it was very busy but they need to work a little harder to at least give people something to drink while they are waiting! Things settled down a bit after that – service was more attentive and the food was served in good time – no real delays with the kitchen The food was delicious. Macaroni Cheese Balls to start; Rack of Ribs and Mussels for mains – the ribs melted in the mouth! Would definitely return but the service needs to improve a little! I’d still recommend as the atmosphere and food were excellent oh, and the moonshine is superb!!"
