"I recently visited Monty's for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Located not far from the Royal Berkshire Hospital, the al fresco dining area gives the restaurant a unique charm. I felt like I was on vacation as I enjoyed a delicious black Americano with a thick crema on top. The outdoor seating area was comfortable with a cool breeze, and I can imagine it being just as enjoyable with heat lamps in colder weather. The menu offers authentic Middle Eastern food, and I appreciated being able to customize my order as a vegan. The staff, who I believe were a family, were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Monty's for a delightful dining experience. The restaurant's full menu can be found on their website, and it is easily accessible by taking the Little Orange bus route from the town centre or hospital, which stops almost outside the restaurant."

"definitiw a hidden food treasure in a lower corner of caversham with good service, great ambiente, high quality delicious Nepalese cuisine and an excellent value for money. the menu offers a large selection and there is no so-called service fee, as is now a norm for almost anywhere where they eat. they also offer deliveroo and just eat service. priya was helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly."

"Since we last visited some years ago the Everest has made a real effort with their décor including a new beer garden out front. Lighting inside is decorative and colourful but overall ambience is a little too bright maybe? Our food was very disappointing, we ordered Everest Special Mismas and Mixed Grill Masala as mains. Both were higher priced dishes that were supposed to include prawns but there were none in either dish. The Mismas didn 't look anything like the menu photo but in fairness they do state Photos are for suggestion only: Actual Platters may appear DIFFERENT . The Masala grill was described as medium sauce but our dish was very mild with no trace of chilli heat. The stuffed paratha was undercooked and greasy. Pilau rice and vegetable bhuna side however were both very good. Kingfisher and Cobra are served on draft but both were charged 30p a pint more than the printed menu price it 's gone up was the explanation. Prices overall are fair but I was hoping for authentic tasty food that at least lived up to the menu descriptions."

"I booked my daughters baby shower here with Andre he was amazing through every step of the process and advised me perfectly on what I needed catering exactly to our needs to suit our budget. Andre really did exceed our expectations and every aspect was perfect. The venue was set up beautifully with a stunning private event room and garden area. Andre even came in when he was not working to check in and say hello. Apo was our host on the day and he did not stop running around for us! He was so friendly and helpful making sure everyone was happy and catered for. The food was really lovely too and the vibe was on point. A real Gem of a venue and an incredible team cannot thank you guys enough for giving us a day to remember. So many compliments from our guests for what a great job I done when really it’s you guys that deserve the credit as you made the whole process a dream."
