"loved the design of the place: much attention was given and there are some really good quirky details. eating is good, but not exceptional for the price in my humble opinion. nothing really sent me to the food sky. Maybe my expectations were very high. some really good dishes like the jerusalemer artichoke chaat and the malwani prawn, yellow tomato cahutney. the soft shell crab and lamb chops were disappointing at £8.50 and £9.50 price tag for very small portions. chutney mary makes a better cut (not cheaper, but in james.) we shared a slowly cooked bone in cocosnus sauce (good, but not spectacular) with slowly cooked black lenses and kidney beans (very good) and a chili and garlic naan, which was soft and warm and a real joy (but small) it would not be safe to travel there again and again great wine list and service. overall very good, but expensive for what it is and it has a lot of competition with cinammon bazaa, cricket."

Absolutely adorable place! Great menu! The beef and chicken are halal! They will also accommodate you with your requests. The service was fab and I’d definitely be visiting again. I had no idea this gem existed so close to me!

Flora indica restaurant is named after a book with the same name of sir joseph hooker. he was one of the botanists and discoverers who discovered over thousands of new exotic plants while traveling in India. these findings were included in a book with the same name published in 1855. Flora indica plays hommage to these Scottish botanists. the hotel is located in the triangle of earls court, south kensington and old brompton road.

Went there this evening as it was near my hotel and, living in France, it's difficult to find good Indian food there. Flora Indica has a great menu with interesting twists and angles on the regular offerings of most Indian restaurants. It's not a very large restaurant so it has a nice ambience. I would recommend it strongly although only give it 4 stars as a chair at a neighbouring table (occupied by some Indian guests) was broken! Speisekarte ansehen

Mr Wing' is the ONLY Chinese restaurant worth visiting in Earl's Court. The food is on a par with The Good Earth' Royal China' restaurants with a character all of its own.It is fairly expensive and you are paying for the atmosphere and decorations such as the waterfall but for a treat it is worth it.You could always take-away your favourite dishes as, trust me, they will be easily better than their local competitors. They also deliver via Room Service' for an addtional fee.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Indian eating is really my one true love. it is my dessert island choice of kitchen and I it more than any other. on its most basic level, Indian food still creates to offer taste in full and comes in many different guises. the British foodie boom has also transformed our dear to ancient Indian British restaurants, served in modern, traditional Indian cuisine. in this sense we recently found ourselves at Flora indica in Earl’s court. a new modern Indian restaurant specializing in small teller.

When I first moved to West Brompton, the current site of Flora Indica was a Chinese restaurant. It was a little tired even then, though I remember being fascinated by the full wall aquarium in the basement dining room. The transformation has been extensive and the result is stunning. Flora Indica is now a fabulous tribute to the Scottish Botanists such as William Roxburgh, who, during the reign of Queen Victoria, travelled throughout India cataloguing the exotic plants they found and publishing Flora Indica in 1855. we are constantly telling that 2017 is the year of taco, and while I am obviously satisfied with this development, especially if it means that more places like breddos are opening up, it seems to me that is a bigger story, what happens to Indian food in the capital. it may not only be a coincidence that januar saw me already posting on two separate and equally exciting Indian restaurants; first the high-end jamavar with its elegant and sophisticated take the classics, then cricket with its innovative English-Indian small plates concept.

Wonderful tasting food and excellent service. We had all vegetarian options. The Kurmure Okra fries were perfectly spiced and would highly recommend. The Papdi Chaat was terrific I really liked the addition of crispy artichoke. The only reason why this is not 5 star is the paneer starter and the paneer main although currently described differently are identical, same sauce, same paneer texture and cooked in the same way, just presented differently. For the main you get 2 pieces of paneer and for the starter you only get 1. As we were sharing we got both paneer dishes and it was really disappointing that this was near identical. For sides the poppy seed and red Leicester cheese naan is a must...
