"Su consiglio di un amico siamo stati in questa piccola gastronomia da asporto un po' defilata rispetto al centro ma comunque raggiungibilissima in 2 minuti a piedi. In realtà c'è un tavolino dove, se si è fortunati, è possibile gustare le pietanze scelte.Che dire, uno dei posti dove ho mangiato meglio in assoluto, non solo a Favignana. Melanzane impanate, arancini di vario tipo e altro preparati al momento (e si sente).Tutti i giorni qualche piatto fuori menù che al.solo pensiero mi viene ancora l'acquolina in bocca.Noi abbiamo provato, in due sere dove non abbiamo mangiato fuori ma, per comodità, abbiamo preferito mangiare a casa quanto segue:CaponataSpada al fornoArancini al ragù Melanzane impanateLa sera successiva:CaponataAnelli al forno con ragù Spada con cipolle in agrodolceArancini ragù Beh, non abbiamo trovato un piatto preferito perché tutti incredibilmente buoni.Grazie ai 2 ragazzi davvero simpatico, disponibili e prodigi di consigli. "Recommended we chose this restaurant by chance, a romantic couple evening to celebrate my birthday. the environment is intimate and elegant but at the same time welcoming. The waiters are professional but they never make you uncomfortable like in those restaurants with many claims and few content, see they have passion for what they do! the menu leaves undecided on what to choose, but when the dishes arrive you understand that in this place you can never lose. the quality of raw materials is very high. the best place to eat on the island! we stayed in many restaurants, but last night we had to go back to having another memory of the dishes of this place! I highly recommend spaghetti with curls...a dish forbidden less than 18 years! many compliments to the waiter and the owner who convey passion for their work and genuineness. Congratulations!"

"Renowned restaurant but not recommended by the Favignanesi DOC perhaps because the owner is not Sicilian? . This year we dared and decided to dine here given that we are on October 1st ... it is assumed that we ‘d be receiving a less chaotic treatment . However, sometimes it is better to take the advice of the natives. The octopus salad was fine even if a bit sandy ... but the two Bucatini alla Amatriciana of Tuna with Pecorino cheese : no comment ! they were mostly raw/undercooked patience ... let's say they were very al dente and shockingly cold below and hot above : the “fine” restaurant goer we are more used to the “trucker’s taverns” along the Po river ... he would have rejected them without appeal ! Last but not least: in the bill we found a bottle of white wine and two coffees never ordered: obviously then canceled thanks to the attentive eye of my lady I often trust too much in the good trust the good faith of others . Rating : 4+ on a scale of 10 … my opinion : definitely overrated ."

"The waitress was very rude and pasta alla norma was awful, too much oil and mold on the ricotta. Not recommended, I’m surprised on how this restaurant is still open. Worst customer service: We arrived at 12:40 pm and were told that we were too early, that the kitchen would have opened at 1 pm. I mean, that’s fine, I know most of restaurants in Sicily work in this way but just the way the lady told us, wasn’t very nice. I’m willing to be your customer, not asking you for a favour. But that’s fine, she was pretty upset (I assume for personal reasons — I know this happens sometimes, we’re humans overall). Of course I would have never written a bad review for that reason, it’s just what happened next that made things worse. The lady cane to take our our order: I chose a €12 menu that included a starter, I told the lady I was vegetarian and asked if there could be something without meat. It seemed like she was in a hurry, she was super quick and went away saying “the starter comes with meat, you can take it off yourself”. That was very rude! Even in fast foods they treat customers better! I was in a restaurant and paying for the service. Fine. I got the starter and had to take the meat off myself as enforced by the lady. I had picked pasta alla norma as a meal and, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I noticed mold on the ricotta. I didn’t not want to complain, and I’m aware that maybe I should have... but I was tired, hungry and sick of being in that place. I took off the greenish ricotta and ate the rest of the pasta. I know this is my experience and maybe it wasn’t a great day for the staff too but mine was a horrible experience and I would never recommend this place. If you decide to go for it, I hope you’ll have a better experience but if you hear me, just go somewhere else."

"Erano settimane che sognavamo la loro pasta con i ricci, purtroppo il pessimo servizio non ci ha fatto apprezzare la bontà di quel piatto. Spiego meglio: più di una settimana fa avevamo prenotato un tavolo per due. Due giorni prima della prenotazione, un gruppo di 5 amici vorrebbe unirsi, chiamo immediatamente e mi reco di persona supplicando di modificare il tavolo, ma il cameriere che penso sia il maitre, negativo e senza accennare un sorriso ci scoraggia, quasi ci fa passare la voglia di andarci. Il giorno della prenotazione, ritentiamo pregando il cameriere di avvisarci se si fosse liberato un tavolo in grado di accogliere anche i nostri amici. Ebbene, hanno avuto una disdetta ma nè ci hanno avvisato ma peggio hanno lasciato il tavolo vuoto per tutta la serata. Quando ho chiesto spiegazioni, la ragazza mi ha riferito che hanno avuto una disdetta un’ora prima del nostro arrivo, inutile sottolineare che avevamo chiesto di essere avvisati. Il maitre ovviamente per tutta la sera non si è avvicinato al nostro tavolo e osservandolo, non ha mai sorriso. Capisco che non si trova personale, ma l’empatia e il sorriso sono la base."
