fantastic customer service tonight, especially from harrison our waiter. eating was amazing as usual. we also sat outside, which looked good in the centre of gunwharf quays. I would definitely recommend mac and cheese, cheese burger

Brilliant waiter who was very attentive and checked on us a lot and was happy to have a chat. The food was nice and worth the price. A very large Dinner but worth it and I didn't have a starter so it wasn't too much in the end. We had some lovely cocktails as well Definitely will return

Never had a bad meal. Been going for years and they are always on top form with food and service. Staff are excellent and couldn't do more for you, very polite and efficient. I visited the Portsmouth restaurant 3 times this week. There were 8 of us including a 3 year old and a 4 year old. Nothing was too much for the happy and helpful staff. The food was great and the atmosphere relaxed. The staff seemed genuinely happy and enjoying their work. Thank you so much for making us feel welcome.

visited tonight after I went to the cinema with my partner, was actually the best I had! amazing service of samuel, who dealt with all my allergies and ask professionally and took me seriously! absolutely fantastic service and eating was also great. then also received a discount on our food for the visit of the cinema before!

had a nice late lunch, early dinner at frankie benny in gunwharf quays. harrison took care of us. very friendly and gave us additional time if I could not decide what to order. the best part was that he didn't come by and looked after us when we had full the month. that always brings me. I hope he waited and appreciated it perfectly. I liked that. was great eating. very tasty and filling. mac and cheese burger with Cajun cheeseries. my new fav! Five stars. Speisekarte ansehen

Not bod all in all, the food was definately the best thing about it as we did not have a great booking experience to be honest. We clearly asked for a downstairs table as one of our party of 6 was disabled and the table staff just plain and simply did not read the notes, they did however admit fault and was able to place some tables together downstairs so all well that ends well. Was quite a cramped and noisy atmosphere but otherwise a decent place to go eat.

Frankie and Benny’s have never been particularly good at allergies in the past, but I can safely say they’ve changed a lot. I’m gluten and dairy free, but yet managed to eat the most incredible rack of ribs, couples with chips and a mocktail. Deserts included a dairy free Belgian chocolate cake with dairy free chocolate ice cream, or an apple crumble with the same ice cream and dairy free custard. Would highly recommend to anyone with allergies looking for a night out. Only complaint was due to the deserts being particularly pricey, but a necessary cost for the luxury of a full meal with allergies.

Lovely place to take the kids to on a rainy, Sunday evening. The staff were friendly and polite. We were treated well and the service was prompt. The food was great. Mac n cheese, pizza, fish goujons and spaghetti for the whole family. For pudding, the OH chose coffee but was unable to get it. He got an alternative, a different server to the one who took the order, brought him his new hot drink and apologised as their machine was having maintenance. Thought that was a lovely gesture because we didn't ask and they seemed like they felt bad for not being able to serve coffee.
