Excellent for a night out.the food is excellent and the service very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Fantastic service and amazing food. Highly recommend. We couldn’t finish the huge portions so we took it home and it was just as nice.

Had the most beautiful duck, cooked perfectly to my request (basically quacking still) Not the first, nor the last time I shall be here for the duck other meals. Excellent service. One of my particular favourites. Always a pleasure here

The best curry I have ever had… it was the egg rice that had sweet onion and fresh coriander that just tasted amazing with the very tasty Pasanda. I cook allot of curry so my expectations are high. They did something special to make the curry taste fresh and refined.

This was excellent Indian food. My wife and I were travelling from Australia and were keen for a good curry while in the UK and Friends did not disappoint. We were both so full but kept eating as we did not want to waste any of our meal. Will definitely come back here if we are in the area! Speisekarte ansehen

Went to this lovely Indian restaurant today as away for weekend. Best curry we've ever had. Staff very attentive, brilliant service and definately yummy food. A must for a gorgeous place to eat and sample their wonderful spices in their food. I had chicken dhansak, husband had chicken madras. What a great find. You really must go x

Amazing food but less of the salesman tactic would be great! We regularly get takeaways from friends and absolutely love the food. A group of us friends decided to go for some food and once again I cannot fault the food. The prices are much more than takeaway prices which is fine but just to pre warn people. The guys working are lovely but every single thing we ordered we felt pressured into more. ‘One poppadom each please’ then comments about pushing us to have 2. Straight to mains, felt pushed to order sides! I totally get these are tough times and they want to make money but it just felt a bit awkward and unnecessary. First visit was last Saturday. Food was spot on. Lovely tasty starters. Main, chicken tikka Dhansk Tasty, tender, and full of fresh herbs .. with spiced mushroom rice. Nicely cooked naan. Husband had chicken tikka Madras super spiced and tender. So nice we came back this week with 2 of our grandchildren 12 and 10. Started with some papadoms and chutneys.. kids had lamb Korma and a lamb Bhuna. With coconut rice. Both said was best curry they'd ever had and gave it 10/10. We shared some onion bhajis with the main. And 2 naan I tried the Patia this week, (my favourite) once again spot-on. Husband has same. We all cleared our plates.. well worth the drive from Southsea.
