excellent take-off service for these Covid times. burgers are amazing as the waffeln. the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Lovely cafe in the village of Honley. Delicious food from a varied menu served by very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend visiting this great cafe.

Pre-Christmas lunch for three. Two selected the festive panini and one the bacon and Brie. No disappointments anywhere with good service, pleasant environment and a cheery welcome. Thank you, we will call again. Speisekarte ansehen

I called to the brunch. all the tables were taken outside so we sat in an empty caffe, which was in order. but when we asked to order, she answered, I make a really big order so you have to wait. So, my man, please, they want us to wait or come back later, and they just said do whatever. I personally would have left at this point, but another waitress offered to take our order. we are not going back. the customer service was terrible.

Visiting family for a few days and called in for coffee with our dog Toby. Settled for coffee, teacake, veggie breakfast and scrambled egg on toast. (There were of us, it wasn't all for me). A French film crew of six were filming at my home in Magdale, Honley. At they asked if there was a local restaurant that I could recommend for lunch. Aware that the menu must be varied, the food of top quality yet produced without...too much waiting, I racked my brains, then thought of the Gallery. I’d enjoyed coffee and cakes there once with a friend, but never a meal. “Can you accommodate a group of eight? Have been to this cafe a few times and the last occasions very disappointed and will not be going again. Went in last week around lunch went for a brie and bacon panini, told me they had no bacon, (which twice now has been...the case in two weeks) and despite a coop being right next door, and could of easily said we are out of bacon but just pop next door to get some'. instead with or staff chatting away to one another had to make do with something else as they could nt be bothered to use some initiative and pop next door My partner had offer of the day on the chalk board which was hot pork pie, and peas with mint, which on the face of it sounded nice. a beautiful sunny lagecafé in the center of honley, perhaps a struggle for those who enter mobility difficulties due to the small side steps and small steep steps to use a bathroom. clean and beautifully furnished similar to a kitchen. jankee doodle breakfast of American buttermilk pfannkuchen, streaky speck and rührei with maple syrup for and a pot of yorkshire tee, for which I order and paid at the arrival. the service/communication felt quite abrupt and sober, perhaps due to an early start, but a smile would have been nice.
