Haven’t been to Galvin’s Bistro and Bar for years as usually go to La Chapelle so found todays experience at the Bistro very enticing. Very large portions and great service.

I had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant and the setting was lovely. The lunch service was quite busy and could have benefited from more waitstaff, but I still enjoyed my meal and would definitely come back again.

We went for the set menu and 3 course option for £28. It was good but you do have to ask for it it’s not brought over automatically. Cheapest bottle of wine is £35. But the beef and mash was delicious and the Pannacotta. Speisekarte ansehen

Great find! Great deal £28 for a 3 courses menu! Absolutely amazing. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. Aubergine was a bit underseasoned for my taste but that's my humble opinion. Service got better towards the second half of the meal. We waited for an hour to have our starters and drinks.

We had a very nice evening at the bistrot. We had opted for the vegetarian options in the set menu the portion sizes was very generous and the food was very tasty. We had originally opted for 3 courses but had to stop after the main course as we were so full. The staff were friendly and attentive which is always a plus.
