The food in this restaurant is superb, with a variety of budgets and appetites catered for. We opted for the less expensive meals and were extremely impressed by the quality and value. Our waiter (Hofer) was attentive, friendly and efficient and provided excellent service the whole time.

The Schnitzel. Was. Incredible. Hands down one of the best, if not the best, Schnitzel I've had in Vienna. It just melted in the mouth. The Zwiebelrostbraten was also delicious! Doesn't look like your typical Austrian restaurant and its not super fancy, so it has an awesome comfortable vibe with exceptional food and drinks! Speisekarte ansehen

That's a great restaurant. We had no reservation, but the stuff was very helpful and ready to take care of us. I must say that as a vegetarian, I am very happy with vegetarian dishes. Besides, my friend was very happy with his meal (carving with cranberry sauce and potato salad). So overall could not be happier with our choice thank you for everything!

Ich bin zufällig an diesem Ort vorbeigekommen, ganz in der Nähe meines Hotels, dem Marriott. Ich habe die Kalbsköttbullar probiert, die sehr saftig und lecker waren. Mein Freund hatte das Schnitzel und sagte, es sei das beste, das er jemals gegessen hat. Außerdem sind die Portionen riesig und der Service hervorragend! Ich werde im Winter zurückkehren, um die Weihnachtsmärkte zu besuchen.

For those who saw my review for Figlmüller, this is the schnitzel I was referring to when I said I had better ones in Vienna . (If you didn't see that review, it was a 4* review. As I mentioned above, this was a great schnitzel. I enjoyed it thoroughly and when I was done I would've easily enjoyed another one. They also have great deserts and wine. This was the last place I visited in Vienna before coming back home, and one of the reasons I came back home with very good memories of my foodie trip. I had the Tafelspitz and it was very tasty. Very attentive and friendly service, they helped me with choosing from the menu and with the wine pairing. I went there without a reservation on my own, and felt very much welcome as a solo guest. Although, I'd like to remind you that this was relatively early in the evening so during peak hours it might be better to make a reservation.

This was one of the best schnitzels I had in Austria (and Germany). It wasn’t cheap, but the price felt right for the quality of the meal (that comes with potato salad). I did feel a bit ripped off having to pay extra €1.5 for the cranberry sauce while in most places it’s included, as it’s just part of the combo. The calf liver was very well cooked too and perfectly seasoned. The waiters were courteous and helpful. We were lucky enough to get a table without reservation, but I saw many people being turned away, so make a reservation if you want to make sure.

We had dinner here. Be sure to call for a reservation, especially in that we were seated near an open door on a warm evening. The service is understated but excellent. We enjoyed weiner schnitzel as well as a boiled beef dish which we understand is very traditional home cooking. It is also a good alternative to the fried dishes. As boiled beef isn't something we are accustomed to we took a chance on the waiters recommendation. It was quality beef and very tasty. The beers on tap were an excellent selection of local brews. Desserts were Viennese heavenly. All in all a very pleasant dinner a few blocks off the tourist Parkring without the tourist pricing. Speisekarte ansehen
