Good pub and atmosphere. It gets pretty busy on the weekends so I'd suggest booking, however walk-ins are welcome Never had an issue with service. Staff are friendly and polite. It's even nicer in the summer when they have their outside bar open. Crakin place Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

I've eaten here 5 times. Including a holiday meal with colleagues a birthday celebration and most recently bottomless wings Wednesday. The food is quite lousy the service is non existent. When I have to keep getting up, going to the bar for anything needed, that's just silly. I've given it many chances but it's just too bad and I will not return. Service: 2 Location: 4

A Longleat safari trip to celebrate my Mother's and my Sister birthdays brought us to The George Inn. We found a treasure. Friendly staff, special mention to Izzie, who thoughtfully organised a potted plant and card for Mum's 95th birthday. Much appreciated, thank you. Their rooms are comfortable with a high standard of beds etc. Also, the best selection of hot drinks I have ever seen in a guest room. The bar area is welcoming and plenty of seating for a night cap. Breakfast offering was varied, we choose the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, delicious. Thank you all.

Lovely 17th Century Inn. My room was really nice and very cozy. I found the service in the bar to be excellent as was the atmosphere.There was a lovely range of Ales, lager, cocktails and they sell Pimm's by the glass or jug. Also a lovely range of coffees, from latte, cappuccino and espresso. Lovely hot chocolate as well. Food was very good and the restaurant is a popular destination.. Noteworthy details: The rooms are very good, with state of the art TV, dab clock radio, charging pad for mobile phones, Nespresso machine and kettle for tea etc.. The bathroom had a bath and shower which I thought was nice. All in all a pleasant place to stay.

Certainly, here’s your feedback transformed into a review: My wife and I are regular patrons of this establishment, drawn by its prime location, beautiful garden, attentive staff, and exceptional roast dinners. However, our recent experience left me with mixed feelings. We visited for lunch two weeks ago and were delighted to find chicken wings on the menu, complete with a variety of sauces. As a self-proclaimed hot sauce enthusiast, I couldn’t resist. I must say, those wings were outstanding, with a delicious hot sauce that hit the spot. Our anticipation was high when we saw the “bottomless wings” offer, and we eagerly booked a table for today (25.10.23). I had been looking forward to this...
