First visit to Castello. The food was very good and so was the service. One slight niggle would have been happier if the staff had been wearing face masks when serving at tables.

We visited on a Wednesday evening expecting it to be quiet but the restaurant was quite full and buzzy. Despite the restaurant being busy service was still good and everyone enjoyed their food. As usual with Italian restaurants there were a few different vegetarian choices...

The restaurant decor is very pleasing, the staff are attentive and friendly. Varied menu and good food. The toilets are clean and tidy. We booked, and were glad we did, as this is a popular place. My fiance and I dined at this restaurant last night. The service was excellent, but unfortunately, 3 out of the 4 dishes we ordered were bland and underseasoned. Even after adding seasoning, the dishes still lacked flavor. On a positive note, the house red wine was very enjoyable. Overall, we were not impressed and do not plan on returning in the near future.

Very very highly recommended my wife and I had an early evening meal at Castello and can only praise it. The food was delicious, particularly the Ribeye steaks which were the best we had ever had. All the staff were lovely, professional, and efficient. Keep up the good work and thank you. We will definitely return to Castello next time we return to that part of England. Vincent McInerney

My partner and I went to this restaurant with another couple on a Friday evening and were pleasantly surprised to see how busy it was. As soon as we walked in, a friendly waiter led us to our table. The staff were all very welcoming and attentive. The food and wine were exceptional - my pizza and tiramisu were delicious, and everyone else enjoyed their meals as well.
