Amazing ice cream which we could not avoid eating on our way from the Metro to our hotel. Definitely worth a visit.

There's lots of competition, so I'd say if you are near this location, try it. With so many other ice cream/gelato throughout the city, mostly exceptional quality, it's a location issue.

The ice cream is good but not extraordinary. 11 euros for 3 cones and 4 scopes is expensive, in the event the taste would be extraordinary than it would be explainable now it is just too expensive. Speisekarte ansehen

Read about Giangrossi helado artesanal in Rick Steves. More than an ice cream parlor, serves fancy I cream desserts, pastries and drinks. We loved the after eight (mint with chocolate chips) and the chocolate cookie- very smooth chocolate taste. Great dessert after tapas.

Delicious hand made Ice cream and sorbet, of many different flavors, most of them reflecting the Spanish spirit, ike the leche merengada or turron ice cream. Nevertheless, the clasic like the lime sorbet are out of this world. You can also have quite a good coffe, beer (a caña and wine, beeing a perfect way to relax and take a break of the extreme heat there was on those days.

I had read about this place serving a special Argentine style ice cream and we walked from around the Prado to check it out. Nice sidewalk tables, lots of great flavors, good price, but I didn't get the difference between it and other local gelato shops we have eaten at. It was quite the walk (maps gave us a bad location) and so we were a little disappointed, but if you are already in the area highly recommend. Speisekarte ansehen
