"Based purely on the Google reviews because if you walk past the restaurant you would not be inclined to enter. Fortunately, we did this and we didn't regret it for a second (we did make a reservation in advance and it was necessary . The 2 room staff (or boss? were so super friendly that you felt good yourself. They were extremely helpful. Not to mention the food. Not hearing anyone complain: not mom, not son 1, not son 2, not daughter 3, not daughter 4 and certainly not dad. Starter of mussels (wow!! and then a pasta with capers and olives. A huge flavor bomb!!!! Ok, we're going to stop because my mouth is watering again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"After driving past this hotel/restaurant a few times during our stay in this area, we decided to pop in to see if there was a table available for us and our two dogs. The staff were very friendly and showed us to a table outside. The service was excellent and food was great. Really enjoyed our time here and would definitely return."

"Appalling staff attitudes to disability. Two staff at this establishment displaying a disgraceful attitude to a small group of four adults with what was obviously an assistance dog. They made two attempts to usher the group into 'out of the way ' and entirely inappropriate seating, and when their dreadful stance was challenged, smilingly explained that they were 'just following orders ' and that it 'wasn 't their fault '. Where have we heard that before? No knowledge of the Equality Act 2010 or their personal responsibility for what was plainly discriminatory behaviour. New interim Guide Dogs research found that 76% of guide dog owners have been refused access to a business or service at some point. While around half of guide dog owners (49% said they had changed or restricted their plans because they were worried about being challenged or refused access to a business or service because of their guide dog’. Can I suggest anyone and everyone avoids this place until staff and owners have received appropriate retraining."

"We found this hidden gem in Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try as we were staying nearby in Kenmore. We didn’t book and arrived at around 5pm on a Wednesday evening. We were greeted by the host who was a great guy and showed us to our choice of table as we had the place to ourselves. The restaurant is very cosy and traditionally decorated with a nice atmosphere. It’s soft drinks and hot drinks only which was fine with us. We ordered hummus and breads for a sharing starter which was fantastic. The freshly cooked warm bread was delicious with the hummus being really tasty. The main courses we had mixed kebab (donner chicken and shish £15) served with chips, salad and a chilli sauce. We couldn’t fault any of it and all the plates went back empty. There was also a kids menu and our little one went with chicken nuggets chips and a bit of salad. Again her plate was emptied. We had baklava for desert which was lovely. The host was attentive without being in your face and he even gave out little girl a bracelet for her birthday which was a nice gesture. Our total bill was £77 which is reasonable for a family of four. We will definitely return when we are next in the area. Five stars from us"

"we came to aberfeldy to visit us on the way to another place. in the necessity of a small ground we came over this lively little caffeine when we met the rush hour, our group of 6 had to split up, but that was because I was most of the week with the rest of them so appreciated a break was waiting staff was super helpful and did their best to sort and take care of us. the food was on site! I had an breakfast that was the right size for me. cooked to perfection, but on the cake to icing? partly through eating, a chap came with a gitarre and gave some brilliant background music to really give a wonderful mood for the place."
