Had a family day out to the farm park next door and had lunch in here. Really good selection of food, freshly prepared reasonable prices. Defo recommended

We went here for Sunday lunch. The restaurant was busy but the service was excellent and we soon had our lovely lunches. Menu had plenty to choose from. Prices were very reasonable. Well worth the visit.

Good food and service in nice location But why do they put so much on a small plate. I don’t want a bigger plate I just want less on the small plate so the food doesn’t spill on to the table. Are they just trying to justify the price by making it look like you’re getting more!

Upon arriving at this restaurant, expect to encounter a substantial line. However, the wait is well worth it, as the queue is efficiently managed. The menu is extensive, offering everything from scones to full meals. The variety of cakes is particularly tempting, so be prepared to indulge yourself.

Excellent coffee shop/restaurant. Good quality home made food and exquisite home baking. Always a huge selection of cakes and scones. Could maybe do with a little barista training, can be quite painful slow watching a cappuccino being made. Only Criticism would be the coffee cups are way too small. Speisekarte ansehen

Nice home baking with a great selection. Bakewell tart was absolutely delicious and scones with cream were tasty. Coffee was lukewarm though and quite small. Clearly very busy and lots of throughput of guests. Staff should really make it clear to guests that it is counter service rather than table service. We saw two tables who hadn’t been aware of this and were getting frustrated at being ignored.

Arrived at 11.30 for lunch and to beat the rush and we did…. Just. within a few minutes there were no tables left. Macaroni was way overcooked and mushy, The peas however were vile. Dark green and slimy. Totally inedible. You need to guess what the cakes are as the very grumpy server was not willing to elaborate. When I asked what they were ‘buttercream’ was her very snappy response. They really should be labelled. To be fair though apart from our server everyone else was super friendly and the restaurant was spotless.

Very busy. We'll organised getting people to tables but table cleaners wiped food spilled on table onto floor. Food came quickly. Mac n cheese. Very stodgy, tasted /looked like wallpaper paste. Pasta well overcooked. Years ago it was served in a dish with lots of sauce. Not now. I was embarrassed having family with me. We didn't stay for cake. If they can't get the main course right, they don't get my money for a sweet. The deluxe hot chocolate was amazing. At over £4 I'm glad. Had a walk round after lunch and was shocked at the prices.
