"Pizzeria on the Via Casilina between Ferentino and Frosinone. The not particularly attractive structure has a large outdoor patio also used in winter. Inside, the environment consists of 2 areas. Modern furnishings. Large parking lot. Of course, the management focuses on the quality of the products and the final result: a delicious pizza in all proposed variants. The inspiration of the chef is Neapolitan pizza, a successful inspiration. Perhaps a greater burden of dressing on the general economy of pizza can be improved. In other words, the edges remain a little too consistent. This does not diminish in any case the product more than appreciable."

"Sono stata alla Trattoria Consolare con un gruppo di amici, tutti amanti del cibo e del buon vino e nessuno di noi è rimasto deluso. Cibo ottimo, dagli antipasti sfiziosi ai dolci tutti fatti in casa. Il proprietario ci ha illustrato i piatti del giorno fornendo tutte le spiegazioni necessarie per scegliere al meglio. Una particolare menzione al pollo alla diavola, cotto sulla griglia davanti ai nostri occhi e davvero squisito, ed al carciofo ripieno. Rapporto qualità/prezzo assolutamente in linea con le nostre aspettative. Buono anche il servizio, camerieri attenti e cortesi. Infine, la location curatissima, un ambiente d'altri tempi che spero rimanga sempre così! Consigliatissimo! Vale davvero il viaggio da Roma!! Parking: Non avventuratevi in auto per le viuzze di Ferentino. All'ingresso della parte alta del paese, prima della porta, c'è un ampio parcheggio gratuito. Lasciate l'auto lì e procedete a piedi. È un'occasione perfetta per fare una passeggiata nell'antico Paese che merita una visita."

"This family-run restaurant was a nice discovery in Fumone, a charming hilltown near Frosinone. Situated at the gate of the walled historic center, it is the first restaurant one encounters. Do go in! This 2-level eatery has a bar counter on the first floor. The decor is casual with some banquettes and rustic chic heavy wooden tables. We practiced our hesitant Italian to order our meal and were rewarded with wonderful handmade strapezzetti (a toothsome, thick spaghetti) with porcini mushrooms, roasted lamb with garden-fresh broccolini (pan fried with garlic and pepperoncini)and a bottle of the local red wine, Cesanese del Piglio (14.5 alcohool vol). Delicious! The owner, his wife and daughter were very friendly, warm and accomodating. We had booked another supper there but a heavy snowfall (in late february) prevented them from making their way up from their home in the surrounding countryside. We will have to return one day."

"We visited Ferentino to visit the town where my grandpa grew up before immigrating to the United States and we stayed in Hotel Bassetto. We were a LARGE group of like 11 people including some babies. The hotel was so accommodating and the hospitality was amazing. They helped us with transportation and even gave us a little tour and information about Ferentino. The food was delicious. It really felt like staying with family and we will definitely be back."
