Grill Secadero - Speisekarte

The restaurant has a special, round, design. While the tourists were having their dinner at the tables at the round wall, the locals gathered at the bar in the centre for a drink and a chat. Food was good and waiters were nice and friendly.

We were on a taxi tour and our driver suggested a coffee stop at this delightful little bar/café hidden away in a dip in the hillside. We would like to have stayed for something to eat but time did not permit. Sat outside and enjoyed the view.

Eaten here many times and never been disappointed. Large portions Great tasting dishes of meat,fish, pasta plus great tasting soups and desserts. One can eat Al Fresco too. Secadero meaning ‘The Drier’ in days gone by it was used for drying out various products. A quirky place bustling with atmosphere. Not really on the tourist track. Many locals. Go give it a try.

We ate there on two evenings during visit to La Palma. Both times were fairly busy, with a mix of locals and visitors (mainly German Dutch . Menu is written in several languages. Portions are a good size,(especially the starters which are big enough for two !! . Wine list is extensive, and mostly local wines. The food was excellent, and the prices very reasonable. Service was attentive, but not at all pushy . Highly recommended.

We only had lunch here as we were staying just too far away to want to walk it in the dark with no pavements. The building is set in the lava flow from the 1948 volcanic eruption and is built out of volcanic rocks in a circular design. The outside seating tables and benches is carved out of solid lava. Worth a visit for the architecture alone. I would possibly have given it an extra star but the veg with my tuna steak was tinned not nice

We were there, we had already gone before the pandemic and I hallucinated all the measures that put the Covid into safety. From mats, hygiene measures are pending. An impeccable service, it is noted that they are professionals of all life. And the very rich meat.We ordered roast cheese, of the best thing we've ever tasted.I an intercote and my husband a single mile from the house.The two very good, that if the garlic of the house's single mile...potent!

The restaurant isn't located in Los Llanos de Aridane but in Las Manchas (close to the vine museum). The restaurant is visited mainly by locals, the staff don't know English but they try to be helpful. When I asked about canarian soup he wasn't able to explain me the dish but showed me it! Nice tapas on the beginning and very good main course. The restaurant is located in round building made from lava stones, looks very dark inside but very clean (mainly toilets)

The cars parked by the roadside, close to a wine tasting gave us a clue there was something special. We stopped and saw people go down a path through a garden to a round house. Inside the walls were bands of white and black with rocks. A bar in the middle and tables around the sides. The menu in three languages, Spanish, German and English. I had an unusual dish of salt fish, sweet potatoes, canary potatoes and banana. It was very filling. A lemon dessert for afters I shared with my wife. Glad we made the effort to find it after we saw it in the morning.

After reading the reviews here and coming back from the beach, stopped here for some lunch. Peculiar little place; the round shape is definitely an interesting site. However, we chose to sit outside at one of the big tables made out of presumably lava stone. Had some chicken and the solomillo, both we tasty and cooked as ordered. Happy! Service was attentive and the pace was great enough time to let the starter settle in and listen to the locals debate at the bar, and fast enough not to start wondering if they forgot about you. All in all good lunch will be back!
