Grilled Cheese Crab Cake Co.

Second time visiting this place and the food is always delicious. You got to try the Crab Melt. It is the second best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had. Definitely check this amazing place out!!

I love this place!!!!! The staff is always friendly and great personalities. The food is consistent and awesome. The sandwiches are huge and the sides work for the sandwiches. I love this place ! Do not scare away because the front is a bit shady looking! It is a gem on the inside!!!!!! .

I was back in town and able to dine in. It's a small restaurant and on a Tuesday at lunchtime it was PACKED. We snagged the last outdoor table and it was a nice day. Note: there's currently construction happening around the building, so the outdoor dining experience was loud. Food was fantastic once again. Staff was stretched but super friendly and nice. The Grilled Cheese Crab Cake is a great little restaurant in Garden City. It is located in a small shopping strip and has limited seating. That's about the only negative thing I can say about it. We visit The Grilled Cheese Crab Cake every time we are in the area. It is one of our favorite places to eat. Our kids even ask for it every time. The Crab Melt is their signature sandwich, and I get it every time. The taste is consistent really good, every time. My wife always gets the Fried Chicken Gilled Cheese. Because of the limited seating, we usually order takeout. I highly recommend The Grille Cheese Crab Cake. 10/10 for me.

The best grilled cheese in the state? You bet! After a visit to the beach, we wanted to try a local spot. They are still operating but only have outdoor seating. Be sure to arrive before the lunch crowd because they do have about 7-8 tables available. I ordered the classic grilled cheese with tomato soup, so yummy!! My husband ordered the crab cake grilled cheese with tomato. It was good but in my opinion, and he agreed, grilled cheese is not something to mess with. Our waitress did say that the crab cake one was a favorite for customers. Personally, I would go with the basic grilled cheese. Fries are bland so if you do order fries, I would order something besides the basic ones.

Soooo delicious! We ordered takeout as we are still not comfortable eating at a restaurant due to COVID. I can only imagine how much more delicious our grilled cheese sandwiches would have been if eating in! It was super easy to order online. Pickup was also easy and staff brought the food to our car. My husband and shared Cajun fries and fried green tomatoes. The ranch that came with the fried green tomatoes was a great portion and so good! I had the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese and my husband had the CrabMelt. Both were amazing and super filling! We each had a half leftover. So let me tell you how I have not been impressed with the spots we have dined at. However, The Grilled Cheese and Crab Co is now one of my all time favorite sandwich shops. If I could give them 10 stars I would. The service was excellent and the food was top notch. The fried green tomatoes where perfect and the Grilled Crab and the grilled fried lobster made me want to get up and high five everyone in the restaurant!!! McKenna, our pleasant waitress, was on point and so friendly. She laughed at our silliness thru out the service. Thanks for such great service!!! You are awesome!!! We came 15 minutes before they opened on a Wednesday since we were starving and was sat immediately when they opened at 11! Very fast and friendly service. The downside to this place is that they didn't have crab available so that was about 4 items off their menu but it does clearly state that on their door that crab and lobsters are limited right now. It also did state the price increase and that price may change at any time so READ THE SIGNAGE SO YOU'RE PREPARED and not angry about the prices or not available items on the menu. Expensive like all seafood, but man. That crab chowder is good. I am glad I got a whole quart for my first taste. I should have gotten a crabby melt instead of a crab cake since the crabby melt is about the same price but had a crab cake inside a grilled cheese with tomato. My daughters liked their grilled cheese and thought it was very cheesy. I took a bite of my husband's crabby melt and it was delicious. I ate my crab cake and it was good too. Fortunately my 7yo couldn't eat her whole sandwich (grilled cheese with tomato) so I ate it with my crab cake and pretended it was a crabby melt ha.
