Excellent. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Nice cosy outside area. Really chocolaty hot chocolate. Real tomato and basil soup, peppery and warming. Amazing looking desserts so we're taking some home. Thanks.

Great food and coffee. Very very busy, booking recommended for every visit. Cakes look amazing. Outdoor and Indoor seats. Service a bit slow (due to the busy bit) but worth the wait. Nice friendly staff too.

Dropped by today on our bikes. Lovely staff who welcomed us. Secure place to store bikes while we had quite an incredible lunch. Very much rivals/beats some trendy places in the west end of Glasgow. We’ll be back!

What a cracking breakfast, service was amazing, it had a good and friendly buzz about the place, they had a vast of selection on the menu and the cakes were **** massive and tasted amazing, they are dog friendly and have cakes for dogs, we dog one for our dog to take away with us

Excellent cafe/ Restraunt tucked away in Irvine. It’s very popular, and it’s not hard to see why-we came just after 1pm and had a 20 minute wait for a table-which was well worth it. Great breakfast menu, with a Scottish twist, great lunch options, and the pastries and cakes very nice. Highly recommended.

Dined in on a weekday lunch during the holidays. It was busy and we ended up having to wait about 30 minutes for a table (note for foreigners: they only take a UK phone number if you want to be called back, so we ended up needing to wait outside in our car) Interior was busy and seating is tight, but super cute and cozy! We got the eggs royals and the classy eggs. Both were great and really filling!

This place is epic! Cycled there from Glasgow. Got to leave bikes in safe, locked, back garden/outdoor area. Super friendly staff. I had food envy for pretty much every dish I saw! I've never seen so many delicious cakes. Settled for a biscoff cinnamon roll which didn't disappoint! Lots of books for kids, and a wee play park. Heaters in outdoor area. Dog friendly. They've really thought of everything. We'll definitely be back!

We stopped in for lunch today after a walk around the harbour beach area. GRO seems a popular place, and for good reason. There is plenty of seating both indoor and out, dogs and families are made welcome and the outside play area for the younger kids looks great. The food and coffee was very good, with good portion sizes at a pretty good price. All of the staff were really nice and there is plenty of parking nearby. We'll worth a visit

I absolutely love GRO. Took my puppy for a walk at the beach and wanted somewhere dog friendly for after. Did a google search and found GRO. Very busy but the staff were brilliant and we had a nice seat outside. The weather was terrible but it was covered and had heaters so felt like sitting inside. It felt very homely, with sofas and comfortable seating and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. They were great with Fergus too which made me feel more relaxed. I was just gonna have a drink but the food was amazing, I went for the Mac and cheese and it was delicious! Great food, great atmosphere, great staff but the biggest win is that it's dog friendly!
