"Can’t recommended Price’s highly enough. I find a lot of chippies to be quite average and uninspiring, but this definitely isn’t the case here. Menu is extensive but not just for the sake of it, everything we tried was well thought out and of high quality (battered pigs in blankets are an inspired invention). Most importantly, core items are bang on. Fish and chips are top notch, well seasoned, perfectly cooked, big portions and really good value (we were a large group, half kids half adults and worked out under £8 a head, with plenty of leftovers). Service was perfect, can tell it’s a well run operation and staff were energetic and helpful in the height of Friday evening service. Do yourself a favour and get yourself in there!"

"My wife and I went for a meal to celebrate our 25th (Silver) wedding anniversary. Things started ok, ordered the seafood sharing platter for starters. I had a pasta dish, my wife the lamb shank (at £25). The starter came and it was really very good. Here is the end of the good bits! My pasta dish was fine, nothing special, but perfectly fine. However, my wife 's slow cooked lamb which should after 6hrs (as claimed) be falling off the bone, wasn 't. In fact it couldn 't be prised off of it! Unfortunately the waiter or manager checked on us quite soon after our meals were brought out. I said mine was fine but my wife stayed silent as she wasn 't yet sure. But the time I 'd eaten mine, my wife had given up with well over half of the lamb remaining on the bone. When he came over to clear the plates my wife said that she was unable to eat the lamb as it was so tough and sinewy still. He didn 't seem very happy with us for saying anything negative about the food so she demonstrated to him and he finally agreed it shouldn 't be like that and took the plate away. From then on we were pretty much ignored, no apology, no offer of a different dish or anything. After 20 minutes we were asked if we wanted desserts, at first we said yes until we discovered there was nothing we wanted so asked for the bill. He took £9 off the bill for a £25 dish that my wife couldn 't eat. Then when we said that we didn 't expect to pay for that dish he argued with us and said my wife was wrong, there was nothing wrong with it and that it was our fault! Not wishing to completely ruin our anniversary, we paid and went elsewhere for a lovely dessert! We won 't be back! Awful service, rude, arrogant manager, below average food."

"The burgers are great and very reasonably priced for good tasty food. There's a big selection of starters/sides many different types of fries- loaded or not, poutine tater tots etc. Then the burgers which are the best I have ever had! Lots of choices for vegan or vegetarian too. And the Craft Beer is excellent ever changing pumps and kept in very good condition. 5 STARS"

"Whenever you are in Ringwood you must visit the fish inn (booking ahead recommended). Judith and Simon the chef/husband run an exceptional Inn with proper, awesome home made/cooked food with courteous, polite professional friendly service. We definitely recommend chefs homemade steak and ale pie, just full of meat and flavour off the scale. Sunday lunch is a must with local roast meats and vegetables cooked perfectly. I guarantee you will love the food , friendly service, oerfect location right by the river, and like us will be must go to place"

"5 Stars in not enough for this wonderful place. We have been coming from London to visit here since 2018 and have visited this at least 8 times. All staff members can not do enough for you and the owner Helen recognises us each time we visit. The food is just amazing and the presentation is of such a high standard that it is a shame to eat. If you are thinking of visiting don't hesitate as you will not be disappointed. This is definitely the best place to eat and unwind in Ringwood. We are looking forward to visiting again soon."
