We were in Paignton at a sailing event and wanted to get away from the noise of the sailing club. Everything about the diner was spot on

Amazing food and lovely staff who are proud of their cooking... try momo dumplings the Nepalese lamb flavours are amazing can't wait too go again!!

Great dinner. Asked what would be the most authentic Napalese dish and thus had the chicken on the bone which was delicious. Great dumplings. Good Nepalese beer friendly staff. Looks unprepossessing from the exterior but light airy in the restaurant upstairs. Really recommend it

Had dinner here last Sunday. The staff were very pleasant and the food was fantastic. It was without doubt one of the best Curries I have other had. The Chef came to speak to us personally to check if we enjoyed our meals. I would highly recommend the Gurcha Restaurant to other diners

We had only eaten a takeaway meal from here before, but decided to invite friends to join us for a restaurant meal. We were not disappointed.The restaurant is situated upstairs above a fish and chip shop and is reached via a wellworn staircase. The restaurant itself is fairly basic but clean.The restaurant menu presented was quite comprehensive but by no means as full as the takeaway menu, especially in respect of the meatfish options for the curries. We soon found out that we could mix and match between the two. With so many choices, both Nepalese and Indian, a strength guide may have encouraged us to choose something less familiar.The restaurant was not full; this was probably because the...
