from beginning to end, the experience was fantastic and as a family we cannot thank them enough. the service and the food they arranged for us were absolutely first class.

my family and I went to eat for my sonny birthday eating was amazing and the staff was friendly and happy to help with meal changes (kelly and the chef ester.) had a really great experience.

We called into The Hare and Hounds without a booking and they welcomed us with no problem or fuss! Food was fantastic! Huge compliments to the chef, best meal We have had in a long time! Waitress very friendly and helpful, can’t wait to return! Speisekarte ansehen

in the afternoon with a large group of friends before going for a walkway, very friendly and efficient staff and good selection of drinks, we were getting free house made cramps that were very delicious. none of us had a meal, but at some diners the helpers were plentiful.

Came in for something to eat with my partner and was greeted by Charles, he made us feel really welcome and was attentive during our whole visit. By the end of the night we was left in hysterics with his witty banter and ended up...staying for a few more drinks. I would definitely visit again! Made a fantastic, lasting impression. very poor and are not sucked in by photos! sees on the line and photos of eating, but as a birthday contract this place destroyed the day. £133 for eating that usually went...in am! scampi and huh was okay, but salat was brown and very poor. I have made family here instead of a beefeater! big mistake and so much to support local pubs! too polite to say something else than it was okay when asked, but what a complete laundry of money and spoiled birthday negotiations. Ok was so looking forward to a Sunday roast but what got dished up to it s was really bad potatoes were like leather veg cooked within an inch of it’s life not t even a green veg on the plate which was a shocker...The Wellington pastry was undercooked still raw in areas and we were told the gravy was vegetarian but I y wasn’t it was definitely meat as the second batch that came out was veggie I would definitely give this place a wide birth and wouldn’t return the standard of food and tue fact we nearly ate meat based product and we’re vegetarian was poor form

A couple of small points to start with, entrance is hidden through the marque in the car park!, and not the most welcoming restaurant we have ever been to, staff( chatting behind bar and on phones when we arrived, felt like we were interrupting!! Sat...next to skittles table (bit too close to the bar, where the loud personal conversations continued!! On to the good, the food was EXCELLENT, quality and presentation was spot on, would go back but staff need to be more professional and not use the bar area for their personal and at times loud conversations, and my pet peeve…put your phones away!!
