I think for the locals this would be a great place to meet and sup. For non-locals it is a small pub in an unusual location, an interesting experience, with homely food.

Loved this place. Very special setting. Enjoyed sitting on benches over looking wetlands with Wales in the distance. Fab mother and son staff team couldn't be more friendly (and ignore the other reviews, no we aren't local and were wholeheartedly welcomed! . Food nothing fancy but extremely reasonably priced, only £3.50 for a toastie.

called here Friday having never been before, we were met by friendly staff shown to our table, 3 of us ordered fish, chips mushy peas all were excellent, YES there were notes on tables denoting bookings but is the pub expected to turn down trade and rely on passing trade? at no time were we rushed and had a pleasant lunch will be back now we know the location.

I’ve been coming here since I was 17, (many, many years ago) and it hasn’t changed one bit. The setting is unique on the marshes, bursting with sea birds and facing the Welsh hills it’s glorious. The pub’s interior probably hasn’t changed dunce the 18th century no TV, no loud music, just a great clientele and a lovely pub “buzz” It’s a smashing place and an absolute one off.

Popped in for first time for lunch. Proper old style pub inside. Large seating areas outside with amazing sweeping views across the marshes to Wales. Parking outside too. Fenced off seating area suitable for children. Very good prices for food. We opted for sandwiches husband had toasted ham and cheese and I had the tuna mayo we both ordered a portion of chips. All very tasty and looking forward to going again.

12 of us visited The Harp Inn yesterday evening for their Tuesday Curry and a Drink for £7 from 5pm. We had a choice of four curries, one being vegetarian. Then a choice of popodom or naan bread and rice or chips or half and half. Very efficiently handled and served. We were all made welcome and there was a terrific, friendly atmosphere. All of us want to return and I am hoping we can make this a regular event. The landlady was lovely as were all the staff we met. Cannot recommend this highly enough.

I arrived in this establishment around 2.20 pm with my ageing farther for afternoon lunch ,the food was ok, however I was shocked to see stickers all over the tables to cater for all the local folks that regularly drink in there,I was told by a member off staff at 6pm ish I had to move table,even though the people who had booked are table didn’t turn up????? Absolutely disgusting the manager Sue has absolutely no time at all for non regular punters ,I spent £76 on this occasion be careful (unless ur a real regular) terrible ,,absolutely !!

A great little pub in little neston with great views of the marshes. Plenty of outdoor seating and the pub is dog friendly. Menu has enough variety to please anyone. Prices are good. We had the steak and ale pie, which contained lots of steak which was tender and no grizzle. A friend had the curry which she said was tasty. The rhubarb pie and custard was good Staff are lovely and chatty. You need to book a table as it does get busy at lunch time. Well worth visiting here, we will be returning when the weather is better and we can sit outside and enjoy the lovely views.

we took our family of 10 to the Harp today . it was great. considering our group dynamics, from 92yrs to a 3 yr old , everything was catered for. we already knew the food can be up to 45 mins, as all meals are cooked fresh.the pies take the longest and very worth the wait. the bar servers Oliver and Josh were very patient with my family, me especially as i messed up the original order. Every bit of space is used up inside . The food was proper home cooked with great variety , from , pies ,fish and chips, to loveley curries and burgers, kids meals (excellent value) and excellent apple crumble, ice cream.
