"We often go to The George for a catch up between friends. There is a large free car park (register inside the restaurant), the service us usually cheerful and fairly speedy. Tonight's salad bar was a bit disappointing, no beetroot, sweetcorn or potato salad, but I did prefer the bread rolls to the ones that are usually there. My main was chicken breast (slightly overcooked) with jacket potato, ratatouille and peas. Very delicious and filling. For dessert, it was a shame that the mini apple crumble with a drink is no longer on the menu, but now just the brownie or ice cream and a drink instead. A pot of tea, main, salad bar and dessert came to £22, which all said and done is quite reasonable."

Lovely staff, who despite being busy were keen to give good service. Food was good and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Staff friendly and patient. I was on a reunion with old school friend so we were catching up for ages. We weren’t pressured to eat up and move on.

Had a lovely lunch there. Salad was super fresh and delicious and food great. Service was excellent. Lady who took our order was super friendly. Would recommend.

The food was great, sweet, and enjoyable. However, the restaurant didn't have air conditioning, which was a bit uncomfortable. Our waiter, Connor, was fantastic—really friendly and added to the pleasant experience.

We came in as a party of 5 and were seated at a ‘nice table’ (as told to us) beside a very large and loud birthday party we could not talk between us as we could not hear each other despite numerous tables downstairs being free. Speisekarte ansehen

The service was quite slow, and I had to go to the bar to get drinks. The bartender seemed more focused on his phone than on serving customers. The food was lukewarm, and the salad offered was scant. The waitress did apologize for the delays.

Waited ages to order. Then plates and cups everywhere so drinks were being spilt because table was full, steak was as dry as a bone and full of fat so didn’t eat it steak was £17.99 only took £7 off meal and I didn’t eat any of it. Kids meals were horrible.
