We have just had a lovely baby shower afternoon tea the food was excellent and they catered for a dairy free and a gluten free afternoon tea too. They couldn’t do more for us and the staff were so attentive thank you again

Delightful spot for breakfast. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the interior was cute, the food was tasty! The Rhubarb and Ginger scone was delicious, the strawberry, rhubarb compote, and granola pancakes were tasty, and the haggis was great!

First visit! Hadn’t booked and place was busy but they managed to squeeze us in! Ordered from breakfast menu which was lovely it’s nice to have all day breakfast options! Coffee was lovely. Definitely be back enjoyed a walk down to the Loch afterwards! Speisekarte ansehen

I met my friend for lunch. New to me. Food outstanding and lovely service. I am coeliac and the food choices were best anywhere. Cakes were something else and can honestly say that it would have been impossible to tell that they tasted gf. Well done, what a brilliant find of a place.

First time here. Went for afternoon tea as this is the only place that does children afternoon tea. Took my niece. She loved it and I also enjoyed mine. Staff were polite. Couldn't do any more to make you feel welcome. Will definitely be back for a theme afternoon tea. Can't wait to try the festive afternoon tea

Took mother for an Afternoon Tea. They were so accommodating to her needs. She's very fussy. They altered the menu to suit. Beautiful selection of savory nibbles and sandwiches homemade scones and delicious cakes. The service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. I would recommend that you book. Visited for lunch. We have been many times before however the menu has changed. I used to love the different fillings in the sandwiches. My favourite was the chicken and mango. There is nothing like this now. The toastie I ordered came it was lovely ham however the cheese was all over the back of the bread very unappetising and nothing else on the plate?? They staff were lovely but I don't think we would travel as far again. Shame really.

Heaven Scent is a lovely wee cafe and a place I go quite regularly. Today however I did not have a good experience. We arrived as a table of 5 at 1pm to a not particularly busy cafe. The waitress older woman with greying hair) was extremely rude to us saying we should have booked and that she had no room for us. She said there were tables reserved then grudgingly allowed us to squeeze into a table for four. She was shaking her head snd extremely rude. Those ‘reserved’ tables never appeared. She took our order with an attitude obviously miffed at us being there. Certainly not a nice experience and one that would put me off going back. Very disappointing.

Booked a table in advance, as I was planning to visit on a Sunday morning. Arrived at my booked time, no greeting from any of the numerous staff members. Waited until I was approached by a grey haired waitress who would be more at home on a parade ground it would seem. She seemed to think the best way to approach a customer was to bark “name?” at me before bothering to ask if I’d made a booking or not. She then casually wandered off, returning a few minutes later to ask my name again. Was shown a table, given a menu and within literally 2.5 mins of me sitting down, she was over asking for my order.
