Suggerirei personalmente al team di rivedere i prezzi, più relativi alle quantità. in dettaglio, siamo rimasti stupiti di aver pagato 97 euro per: acqua, vino bianco di metà casa, un pomodoro bruschetta con stracciatella 13 euro? , 3 prima delle quali due porzioni, due secondi e due piccole insalate verdi, a 6 euro uno? . ah e un caffè. dopo la lunga attesa dell'intero pasto, solo 2 euro di sconto dal totale, sicuramente non il modo migliore per fidelizzare un cliente che non ha avuto un'esperienza liscia al lavoro e la cara ragazza nella stanza, se n'e' certamente realizzato . Non so quanto avremmo speso se fossimo un tavolo che ha ordinato tutti i corsi di un pasto! Raccomando che il ristorante opera più umiltà nei prezzi, più congruo da invitare e accogliere con la giusta offerta, clienti nuovi e passati. 3 stelle per fiducia."

"We stopped in off season without reservations on Friday evening at opening time (7:30 . The two of us were traveling with our small dog. We were able to get a table right away. The lady serving us was extremely hospitable, nicely bringing us an a English menu, but still engaging with us in our poor Italian when we tried : We only ordered a simple dinner two pastas (fettuccine cinghale and fettuccine asparagi e salcicce and table wine plus a dessert but we loved every bit of it. Portions were generous (husband devoured his and I have leftovers : . Nothing was fancily presented but the taste was just SO good it speaks for itself ! and the atmosphere very warm, it was the perfect end to a day sightseeing in the hilly area. We appreciate that they are dog friendly, too. One note only that while they do accept credit cards, the machine wasn’t working while we were there. Luckily we had enough cash and there was no problem at all. Remember when you’re visiting Calcata that it is a remote place with some technology limitations due to the preservation of the beautiful ancient town, so take some cash with you and don’t rely only on credit cards. "Prenotato per le arrivati alle troppo presto prego tornare tra mezz'ora almeno, devo avere il tempo di preparare. Questa è stata l'accoglienza del patron. Volevamo stare fuori all'aria aperta, ma di nuovo il sig. Gianluca ha deciso che era meglio dentro perchè poteva piovere. Locale piccolo, pulito e strarredato. Ottima la pasta fatta in casa (sempre da lui) tringozzi alla gricia (guai a dire che sono come i pici toscani! Buono anche l'antipasto di terra con salumi e formaggie due ciotoline una di fagioli cannellini e l'altra di verdura cotta Vino sfuso. Conto assolutamente irrisorio. Che dire: prendere il patron così com'è. Ah, nel frattempo sono arrivati quattro ragazzi che volevano mangiare fuori e anche a loro è stato praticamente proibito o dentro o niente"

"calcata was busy on Sunday afternoon. il borgo takes a good position, but this is the only good thing I can say. we waited minutes to sit until an empty table is cleaned. no menu given, got waiter after minutes, he said. the menu and we ordered. we waited minutes, didn't bring water or broth until we asked a few times. we had a little child with us, so it was long to eat. Finally we got our cold antipasto that we had asked for people, it was pitiful. minutes for a cold antipasto is crazy. after minutes the waiter asked us what we ordered, (he had written it down) then after another excessive waiting we saw others diner who had come to serve. they also brought food for diners who had gone because they had waited too long. we gave up, left euro for the sad antipasto and half a glass wein. lady in the kitchen and waiter seemed underoccupied, but the waiters had no notice, they left tables unclear for the old, the half eaten plates of pasta made me glad that we was no longer wasting time when it was not possible. they were completely unorganized and one was rude when we said we were going. a table came behind us after we had made it, one got its pasta minutes after the other, also not acceptable. I have rarely left reviews, but I was so frustrated with the bad service. Unfortunately in calcata this is not a mobile signal and so we could not check tripadvisor before selecting a restaurant. we eat a slice of pizza in the piazza. a much better choice, they avoid when they want to eat. We might have served at dinner, but after the hours we had enough."
