The food we ordered were all piping hot and was served in good time. The staff were kind and helpful, definitely going to return.

I love spices, Tandoori mixed grill, very disappointing, lots of dry tasteless chicken, not marinated for long enough, overcooked prawn. Even the Aloo Gobi was bland and lacked spice. £32.65 meal for 2 so…not a cheap meal ! Very disappointing.

So pleased we decided to treat ourselves to a meal in this delightful little restaurant as a change from hotel food. We chose the Himalayan Goat Curry and Himalayan Butter Chicken, both of which were delicious. My other half enjoyed the Ghurka Beer as well. Cosy friendly little restaurant with delicious food. We have been here a few times now and the service is excellent, really friendly people. The menu is a mixture of Indian and Nepalese food, some really nice dishes. Our dinner for two with drinks was around £50, so great value as well, no wonder the delivery man was do busy. The decor may be a bit dated but that just add to the charm

After our wedding we chose the Himalaya for a Indian with our family.We had such a fantastic night,all of our meals were gorgeous,piping hot food and the taste was fabulous, the best curry in Torbay by far.The staff were brilliant, they even gave us a wedding day card and a bottle of wine when we left. Thank you for making our day so special. Looking forward to coming back again soon

Regularly get take away from here and normally OK. Disappointing this time, they clearly can 't cope when their restaurant is busy in the summer months. Told 20mins for pick up and waited almost an hour. Food average and don 't get me started on the fresh squid rings with green salad for £5.20. Think we 'll head back in the Autumn when they are hopefuly giving better food and service Speisekarte ansehen

Fancied a curry and found this place close to our hotel. As it was a Nepalese restaurant we decided to go with the Himalayan goat curry and Chicken Shazani, both were delicious as was the lemon rice and peshwari nan. Could not fault the food and the service was also excellent. Friendly and polite but not in your face. If we’re ever in the area again we will definitely go back. Would totally recommend.

We had a fabulous evening last Saturday. The food is always brilliant, piping hot, beautifully prepared and extremely tasty. The menu is wide ranging. There was a slight mix up with the table reservation when we arrived but it was sorted out very quickly and charmingly. Service was great all evening and a very reasonable price. We usually have a takeaway from here every week!!!! But it was lovely to eat at the restaurant, thank you all very much.

Haven't been here for three years due to Covid.. Service was good, food was good. We had Himalaya Curry and Nepalese Chicken Chilli. The latter was especially good. We ordered papadum and because it has been so long that we have eaten out fell for the chutney offer bye bye £1.40). I am old enough to remember when the chutney onion and stuff was complementary... Anyway that was down to me. What hacked me off a bit was that we ordered two diet cokes, watched the waitress open two cans and pour. When we got the bill we had been charged £4!!!.
