Lovely roast on our journey from Dorset to Surrey. Found a table for us on what was a busy week day evening on the run up to Christmas. Open fire and lots of low beams

Fantastic. Everything about this place is beautifully done, plus it has a magic ingredient wonderful hosts and team. A full restaurant tells its own story and I can see why it's busy. A 5 star experience.

Stayed here for 2 nights in the double. Simple rooms but really comfy. Food and drink was top notch. Car would be helpful as £20 each way from Pulborough in a taxi. Great walks near by. Staff were really friendly and helpful Speisekarte ansehen

Had lunch there with relatives, menu very eclectic in an obvious attempt to be adventurous. However one of our party could not find anything they could eat some choices were less than palatable. Needless to say we won't be back.

Excellent time at the Horse Guards Inn for a drink. Beautiful English sparkling wine was served! Lovely setting inside and out. I’ve been to the Horse Guards many times, but this was my first time visiting the garden out the back. It was beautiful! Lovely setting to enjoy a bite and some wine. Thank you!

My wife and I had our anniversary dinner here this week and we were absolutely blown away by the quality of the dishes we ordered. Beautifully presented and incredible flavours. A friendly welcome, great service all night and a lovely, cozy atmosphere made our night perfect! We look forward to going back. Speisekarte ansehen

What can I say if I could give 10 stars I would have done I had a work party here on Friday night. The service so the food was amazing. U had the pumpkin soup followed by the trout and the flavours were out of this world. I'm just annoyed I didn't get a chance yo try the puddings as I was so full. Really would recommend this place highly. I hsvnt had food like this in a long time . Well done to all of the team and the kitchen staff.

Excellent food and lovely friendly staff. Stayed here with a friend for some R&R and quality time together. Next to Petworth for some stunning walks/runs. Food is seasonal and prepared to the highest standards. Breakfast (included in the price) worth £30 alone. Room was very clean country shabby chic vibes comfortable beds, basic but everything you need. Garden is enchanted and has comfy beds/bags to lounge on and sleep off lunch on which listening to the hens chatting. Good wine list. Would definitely visit again.

Had lunch here last week for a special occasion for a few people. Ambience and food were excellent; food came out quickly and everyone really enjoyed it. Most of the staff were super but a couple of them were really unwelcoming at first and didn’t seem pleased to see us at all; I felt like I was getting in their way. Again when we were leaving a couple of the team just looked past us, rather than saying ‘thanks/bye’ etc. first impressions and how you’re made to feel as a customer are so important. My comments are made in the spirit of giving constructive feedback, not as a complaint, and I hope the owners will take on board. We would definitely go back. Speisekarte ansehen
