"We came on the recommendation of the host in our agriturismo, and were really pleasantly surprised with the food! The choice was great, super fresh and the dishes were really refined and prepared with care, although the restaurant looks very simple. We had fish for starter and main, and ended up coming back the next evening to try the meat dishes which didn’t disappoint either, really delicious. The highlights for us were the muscles alla spezzina, grilled shrimp wrapped in pancetta, goat cheeses and the beef fillet. Mortadella di cinghiale also really good, sources locally. Great wine suggestions from the waiters as well. When we come back, we will definitely visit again!"

I have to say... comfortable quiet and kind and also a little vintage really nice...the particular and abundant dishes I ate a very soft octopus with potatoes olives and capers..mai eaten so! delicious to return

found really for ‘case’ and ‘lucky’ during a motorbike trip in the middle of the unexpected storm, we were greeted at the end of the service with kindness. was a goto surprise. all exquisite, from the fried sea, to the dumplings with gold plate to chocolate dessert! superlative! recommended to bikers and not!

My family went on dinner. We get recommedation in Hotel Nella. Food was fresh and local. Olive oil is here “must to be”. Very good starter with salami and cheese, good pasta with domestic ingridients and delicius fish. Everything was great. I missed juices and some english world to be spoken for better comunication. Local mythical: the fresh and excellent quality food reflects the young soul of the chef and the balance sea and mountains typical of our areas. Many solutions to enrich the demanding palate, but with attention to seasonality. excellent appetizers, fabulous first and spectacular seconds. What about desserts? by magic the space for these delights is always found.

The place was recommended by our B&B hosts, and to be honest we weren't expecting a lot. The interior is a little dated, but cozy. The English menus are hand written. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgable and recommended some fine local wines. The food was also very good. Although it is a fish restaurant they also serve dishes with beef. We could say a hidden gem.

"My husband and I took the train from Rapallo to La Spezia because we had read about andree. We are so glad that we did. We chose the three course lunch and liked that there were so many options for each course. Once we experienced the food and the perfect wine pairings, we can say that the quality/price ratio was outstanding. My husband saw beef and oysters on the menu, but since we don’t eat meat, Chef Andrea kindly prepared an extra off menu appetizer for him of three raw oysters. Our ordered appetizers were sweet succulent mussels in a velvety cauliflower cream sauce and a delicious artichoke heart with almonds and Castelmagno cheese. For our pasta course we chose the calamarta pasta with black eyed peas and rosemary and the tagliolini with clams both were delicious. For our secondi piatti my husband ordered the red mullet with broccoli, anchovies, pistachios, and a light orange sauce, while I chose today’s catch, which was amberjack wrapped in chard. We switched plates midway, and we were hard pressed to say which was better, because both were fantastic. Each of the courses was paired beautifully with lovely wines from small production vineyards. Unfortunately, we lingered too long over each course and realized after we had ordered dessert that we only had 30 minutes to catch our train back to Rapallo. They insisted that we eat dessert while they called us a cab, and while we wolfed it down (instead of savoring it the way we would have liked to), we only saw after we got back that they never charged us for dessert. Chef Andrea is an extremely talented chef and a warm and generous man who genuinely wants his diners to enjoy his food. What a pleasure it was to briefly make his acquaintance and to have the opportunity to experience this exquisite lunch."
