"Negative experience on all points of view, both as an aperitif and as a dinner. We booked a table for 20.00 on Sunday evening, as soon as we arrived we sat down and ordered 2 American aperitifs) saying that after we ordered something to eat. Waiting for more than half an hour, in the meantime our aperitifs remained on the stand ready, but no one brought them. When they arrived they were drowned by the loose ice, so much to get out of the glass, and to my contest of the thing, I was answered we have a table of 15 people to serve, and then? I called the manager who told me that they had destabilized and changed them, in the meantime before the change I arrived the dishes I had ordered, a polyp to salad and cod with potatoes. the hard and little polyp, many potatoes. The same thing about the cod for the little that there was, only skin, navigated in liters of oil and sauce. Immangiabili!!! All paid €41.00€. X 2 aperitifs and 2 heated dishes."

The dishes offered are quite classic, modest portions and discreet quality. The problem is that we spent 60 euros for a dinner in two eating in paper dishes.

bad, biblical waiting times and rudeness. After half an hour of waiting, having requested the service, they told us to go to another bar in the square, so we did.

We had dinner in this kiosk in August. The quality of the fish is excellent. Chef Leonardo is very good and very kind. Cristina very nice and helpful. Good. Recommended! Speisekarte ansehen

Bad local a burrata (which was actually a mozzarella) with two anchovies on top and a glass of wine to head €19... but neither were you in Piazza Navona.... and all served after 40 minutes waiting... but more..

We were for two consecutive nights to make an aperitif in this square where there are two small kiosks: one for aperitif and the other for small fish tastings! Clean and very nice square, we found our drinks really well made!

Sono stato in questo posto con degli amici a abbiamo ordinato una bottiglia da 75 di Franciacorta e un tagliere di salumi e formaggi. Su Quest’ultimo non riponevo molte pretese ma mi ha sorpreso!!! Costo 33€ circa. Il servizio un po’ carente. Posto da 8 su 10. Speisekarte ansehen

Great location, food in the average, but absolutely not in line with the rest of Numana. Salad of octopus, gratinated calamari and two wine glasses of the place for a total of 35€: considered the service on paper dishes and the figure above the average for a glass of white, I would not recommend it, at least surely not for dinner.

The location is exceptional, on top of the village, with a view on the beach of the friar and on the spiaggiola. We stayed for a quiet after dinner, and we reached the point. There is not much choice but there are local craft beers and not, and this is what we were looking for. Prices a little higher than the competition, at least for my personal experience, but at the facts it can be. Friendly and quick service, all second script. As from title, good for the beer after dinner.

"Numna was the last stop on our trip through central Italy. We thought it would be nice to go somewhere the locals go to vacation and see something outside the usual tourist spots. Sirolo and Numana are all of those things and did not disappoint. However, we were there the first weekend in October so the busy season had ended and the locals had all but rolled up the sidewalks. We tried to get reservations at a couple restaurants overlooking the water but they were closed. I found this place on Google and the front desk at our hotel made us a reservation for the all too American hour of 7:30PM. We went out exploring the town for a couple hours and ended up at one of the few open cafes in the town square where we enjoyed some wine and snacks. Feeling relaxed and a little silly we made our way to our 7:30 reservation. We were the only ones in the restaurant because of course no one but Americans eat that early. Oh well. Having no idea what we were walking in to, the four of us were a bit shocked when we looked at the menu. We thought it would be an osteria or trattoria with traditional Italian fare. It was not. When we began to translate the Italian menu but I wasn 't sure we had done so correctly because there was no context within which I was familiar with 'pigeon foam '. Realizing we had stumbled into a culinary experiece well beyond our experience or expectations we decided there were only two things to do: sit back and enjoy the ride and order lots of wine. The wine was La Spazza? I think. It was a local verdicchio and it was delicious, or at least my 6 glasses were. There was an amuse bouche and I am so embarassed that the only words I have to describe it were spongy, salty and delicious. There were also some wasabi peanuts. Well there were 4 wasabi peanuts to be exact and they were in a box of small white rocks. Needless to say one of us tried to eat a rock which resulted in raucous laughter but no broken teeth. By now, the restaurant was filling up and we were acutely aware that we were the worst dressed and least prepared for the skill and delicacy with which our meal was to be prepared. On the plus side, the locals were getting a real kick laughing at us which we wholly welcomed. My lobster salad was divine. My risotto with the black butter and pigeon foam/sauce was rich, full of texture and dripping with umami. My veal shank was probably prepared sous-vide and was exquisite in texture. For dessert, I ordered the Rapisarlada. Their take on a deconstructed pina colada and is the greatest thing to ever happen to the pina colada. This is the most elevated these flavors have ever been and it will be remembered. I would like to say I am sorry to the chef and fellow patrons. Had we been aware we would have dressed a bit nicer and been prepared for a far more refined experience. Despite our appearance and lack of sophistication, the staff and the chef could not have been nicer and happier to serve us. Truly one of our best nights on the entire 12 day trip. I hope someday to have occasion to return and show the chef proper respect and appreciation."
