"For more than 20 years I've known this place and I have to say that its charm is unchanged and quality has improved over time. In recent years, the owner Vittorio and his wife Rita (a great cook) joined the two sons and the activity suffered a further leap of quality. Charming the structure in the S.Antonio Woods, renovated furnishings, new mis en place, excellent wine paper. The menu has further expanded especially in the appetizers (prosciutto di cervo, bib with artichokes, turkey breast with honey and balsamic, Spanish ham, meat tartare, lentil and chestnut soup and much more) and has maintained the great tradition of the first and second abbruzzesi. Special mention for the meat (we ate in two a little Abruzzo from 700gr. cooked to the blood that was a butter) and for small grains like the eggs to the tegamino with the local truffle (collected directly from the good Vittorio with his dogs). Net improvement of the sweets and their presentation, few but very good (tiramisù, baked cream, apple pie and nuts, various tarts, all homemade). Being at the table at the Faggeto and seeing maybe a beautiful snowfall outside the window is an experience worth trying!"

Excellent restaurant at the foot of the forest: the service is excellent and the excellent prices. Children are welcomed and treated egregiously and the quality of food is excellent

abbiamo mangiato bene. un antipasto in due, due primi, una grigliata di carne, acqua, 74 euro. oramai per un pranzo completo servono 50 euro a persona, oppure 60 con il vino. è diventato un vero lusso

It is advisable to book, they are accurate and respect the time they communicate to you. Warm and cosy room. Location of the restaurant very particular as it is practically in a forest. Varied menu, great food and account in the norm. Impossible not to taste the green pointers... an absurd goodness.

What to say, anxiety in this place is a mistress.... two rounds, 7 times to ask if we wanted sweet to free the place, badly cooked meat and unsavory cmq. dry roast like all the mixed brace... High count if you consider that to reach it... or the proper means or you attack....in the area there is better mooolto.. Trust me. Prices? 78 euros for 2 first and a second in two with wine of the house(14 euros wine unused)Hello hi.

After visiting the wood of St. Anthony, we decide to have lunch here, given the beautiful photos of both the place and the dishes. Typical location, classic mountain trattoria. Very nice and clean, full of particular objects and very appreciated also the presence of a real fireplace. Premetto, the food really of excellent quality, from 'antipasto to dessert. I put 4 stars for the quantities, some things. For example, starter: Crostini with Scamorza and truffle, at 12€ if I appeal well. Too much, exaggerated for the four half slices of bread served. Vado al Faggeto da tanto tempo. Nel corso degli ultimi anni ho visto i prezzi lievitare di anno in anno e le porzioni diminuire, ma la vita è cara per tutti e poteva andare finché la qualità del cibo era eccellente. Adesso invece ho riscontrato un peggioramento anche in questo. Il mio piatto preferito, le puntarelle alla paesana, annegavano in un lago bianco di ricotta(? ammazzando completamente il sapore della pasta (anche un po' avanti di cottura . Basta vedere la foto del prima (2021 e del dopo per capire la differenza. Buona la scamorza anche se pure galleggiava un po' nel suo sugo, cosa che rendeva un po' scomoda mangiarla. Il servizio buono, più celere degli anni scorsi. Rapporto quali...

"Ottima cucina con pieranze ricercate e frutto di un evidente lungo studio. Pietanze innovative per l 'alto sangro. Rivisitazione della cucina francese in stile abruzzese. Un 'ristorante diverso ' con area esterna ed interna per pranzare/cenate. Molto gentile il personale sempre premuroso. Il proprietario illustra ciascuna pietanza in modo meticoloso facendo vivere al cliente un esperienza culinaria unica descrivendo minuziosamente l 'elaborazione di ciascun piatto. Da sottolineare l 'approvvigionamento di materie prime dall 'orto dei ristoratori e dunque...a 'cm 0 ' con un valzer di profumi e gusti unici, tutti genuini. Buona e varia l 'offerta di vini. Giusti i prezzi praticati. Ottime anche le colazioni al mattino con oltre alle numerose torte anche pan cake allo sciroppo d 'acine. La moglie del proprietario, francese, e ' una pasticciera oltre che ottima cuoca. Il ristorante da prestigio da Rivisondoli. Consiglio l 'ottimo maialino nero, il roast beef con verdure. Abbiamo assaggiato inoltre gli ottimi gnocchi con barbabietole. Unico neo e ' che il giorno in cui abbiamo pranzato c 'era nell 'adiacente piazza un mercato che stonava l 'atmosfera di quanto di buono i ristoratori hanno realizzato. L 'amministrazione locale dovrebbe preservare un tal tipo di ristorazione favorendone lo sviluppo visto che sono le iniziative come queste quelle che danno prestigio a luoghi come Rivisondoli. L 'episodicita ' del mercato non giustifica la miopia dell 'amministrazione."
