Ended up here quite randomly, but were not disappointed. The lobster came straight from the tank and it was perfect. Supplemented with some of the best sauce and pasta in all our stay. I think I ate pasta for 6 people in addition to the lobster. The sauce kept getting better as the lobster juice blended with the tomato. I ate so much that I almost couldn’t walk after. A nice little salad bar which was frequently visited by my companion.

typical specialties of the sea of the area at low prices. the restaurant pizzeria il nostramo, at the gates of gaeta, is a great meeting to discover the dishes of the marine tradition of the country. famous local for lovers of the area, is renowned for its abundant courses and for the guarantee of fish mainly from the “Mare Nostrum”. of high quality also pizza and despite the spacious rooms and outdoor space, on weekends is highly recommended booking.

I went last night with a group of friends. It was our second time here and it was awful. They were completely understaffed. It took 20 minutes just to get a menu, we had to basically yell across the restarting to get someone over to order wine, half the food didn’t come until 40 minutes after the first half of my group got their food, and when it came to paying and wanting to split the bill the cashier made it seem like it was the biggest inconvenience of her life and started talking about us in Italian as if we didn’t understand what she was saying. Rude service, overcrowded, and there were dirty dishes everywhere stacked. Unless you come on a real good day, do not recommend Speisekarte ansehen

After flying into Italy and driving to our hotel in Gaeta, we were ready for some 'authentic ' Italian pasta, not the over-cooked, over-sauced stuff you get in too many places in the states. Nostromo 's has a very extensive menu with many pasta choices. We selected the octopus as an appetizer which was tender with just the right amount of garlic, lemon and olive oil...very tasty. For entrees we had spaghetti and clams along with fettuccine with prawns and mushrooms. The clams were tender and slightly salty in a perfect sauce of nothing more than olive oil and broth from the clams; the pasta was cooked perfectly! The prawns were tender and tasted something between shrimp and lobster in a ligh...

One of the most uncomfortable experience I had in such a long time. We booked at 8:30pm and we were asked to wait for 45’ standing outside the restaurant with no clear answers from the staff about what we were supposed to expect. Many people were forced to gather outside the restaurant while waiting to get in and not all of them was wearing masks which made everything really uncomfortable... After a long wait we were brought in a very crowded area where our table was not set yet... When we sit there were people smoking near us as well as a very bad smell of animals coming from some bushes behind our table. We used to come to this restaurant a lot because it offered good food for reasonable prices, however it has disappointed over the course of our latest visit. We were two with a baby 11 months so not a customer) and we ordered as starters a plate of mussels Impepata di cozze) and an Italian fried mix Frittura all'Italiana); as main dish we ordered one Linguine alla Nostromo their specialty pasta with seafood) and one grilled calamari. We had only a bottle of sparkling water as drink. Our overall evaluation barely reaches average for the following reasons: 1) Although the waitresses were friendly, the service was bad.
