quiet restaurant at the top of vernazza with a nice terrace. bruschettas are excellent, the pasta is good. The staff is nice and listened to.

Inviting staff excited about their wonderful food. Great service and food was exceptional. Tried their pistachio pastry, eggs and a ham cheese croissant. Next time I'm going to get a glass of their fresh squeezed orange juice.

Their only gluten free option for breakfast is eggs and bacon, but it's delicious and hit the spot perfectly! I never went for lunch, but the owner told us that they have lots more GF options available then. They also know how to take care of their customers my second morning there, they delayed my breakfast order to avoid any risk of cross contamination.

fun restaurant about 2 minutes to walk outside the hauptvernazza strip. the owner went through gf options in the menu and explained that they take allergies very seriously. they can not have pasta, but I had an excellent grilled fish. they also brought me separate prepacked bread with olive oil and balsamico vinegar before the meal. atmosphere is fun and owners are very hands on and helpful. highly recommended!

Nebst dem sensationellen Frühstück, mit frischen Brioches, Croissants und süssen Teilchen,das bereits ab 6.30 angeboten wird , bietet das etwas ausserhalb des lärmigen Trubels gelegene kleine Restaurant auch viele lokale Spezialitäten, wie Anchovis, pulpo, bruschetta und natürlich Fisch an. Der kleine Umweg lohnt zu jeder Tageszeit Nicht billig aber für die örtlichen Verhältnisse preiswert und sehr frisch und lecker

While staying in Vernazza we enjoyed our breakfast at Il Pirata! Fresh , Tasty pastries and coffee. Unfortunately we did not get to try the egg breakfast options but it looked great on other people's plates : The ordering system is a bit confusing , as there is a pastry display you can choose your pastry from, then at the table you order beverages and whatever else. There is really no set menu with breakfast items as one is used to ... but the staff is super nice and will take care of you !

you are near, this is a must visit spot. We first visited 7 years ago, and are returning now, the staff are the same. It's busy, it's a bit chaotic, and overall, it's amazing. Good service, good coffee, amazing parties and OJ. They added eggs and bacon also so you can get your protein fix and pastries fix in one go. The system is a tiny bit confusing, but easy once you get your bearings . You get seated, give one of the waitresses your drink order, go up to the pastry display and order your food, then sit and they will ring it to you. When done, pay at the counter again. If you only eat at one place in Vernazza, make it here.

We happened to be staying very close to this gem of an establishment. First went there for breakfast and talked to one of the owners behind the counter. He is obsessed about taking care of customers with allergies. I even heard him asking every single person that he was handing food to, “Are you allergic? Do you have food allergies?” I informed him that I have one daughter with a tree nut (pistachios and cashews) allergy and another daughter with Celiac’s. My daughter with the tree nut allergy was able to have most of their croissants, which has not been the case so far in Italy. My Celiacs daughter was able to have bacon and eggs for breakfast!
