No doubt it’s something to do with the IT system yet another example of technology trimphing over real service (as opposed to the PR version of service). In the end I had to pay for each of the starters and guess what? The total came to just over £19.17. Petty and ungenerous behaviour I call it."

Absolutely perfect Eggs Benedict and great coffee in a lovely setting.

No tea choices, only Rosebud, which is difficult to conceive in a restaurant that serves tea. Disappointing really.

Nice place wine expensive was a birthday service good but food average had the ivy burgers but were so dry so little disappointed as was for a birthday

Did not realise when I booked table in the bar it meant sitting on bar stoles at the bar, took it for granted we would still be given a table. As that was not comfortable for my handicapped son in law we had to accept a table outside with heaters which obviously did not have the same atmosphere.

Brunch and breakfast restaurant but they can’t make scrambled eggs? They only did poached eggs, which were watery. Chicken skewers were well seasoned but the meat was fatty. It seems like a nice spot at first glance, and the staff is lovely, but in reality it is just overpriced and doesn’t have great food. Speisekarte ansehen

The food was lovely. The service was rather slow and the staff had to be reminded about what we ordered. The drinks and starters took a long while to arrive. Overall good food and value was ok in view of the quality of food. It was a busy early evening so perhaps this partly accounted for the slow and erratic service.

Lovely Sunday brunch for my birthday. Staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive and service was prompt. The Sunday roast was tasty, a good sized portion and nicely presented. The staff dealt with all of our requests and my complimentary birthday dessert really made my birthday meal feel special. My party all enjoyed the occasion, thank you.
