was just at jaxons for the 70th birthday of my man. the food and the staff were fantastic. nothing was too much annoyed. can not recommend, high enough x

Ate here recently, the food was sub par at best, meat was over cooked, vegetables sloppy. No atmosphere.. staff were mainly children wondering around aimlessly will not be returning. Was a favourite venue of mine before it was taken over Shame.

I hosted my mother's gathering at this restaurant yesterday. The food, bar, and service were all excellent. The room was lovely and had a table for us to display photos. We were not rushed to leave, which was much appreciated. Overall, it was great value for money.

Went here for the first time yesterday and had a lovely meal with family. The food was excellent quality and reasonably priced. The selection/choice on the menu was just right. Lovely decor. Staff attentive friendly. Plenty of car parking space. Would definitely recommend.

On the 22nd September 2023 we had an drinks reception at Jaxon's for around 80 people of all ages. The venue is really nice and includes outdoor space. The bar staff professional experienced. The food was great (buffet). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jaxon's for an event.

My husband and I had our Golden Wedding Anniversary Lunch here yesterday along with my nephew and his wife celebrating their Silver Wedding Anniversary. The three course lunch was perfect. The service was excellent and really friendly. Our family of 17 really enjoyed themselves. Thank Jaxons. X

Recently held the celebration of my father in law’s life at Jason’s Eating House The staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Loved the idea of a memory table that allowed us to display items that were particularly relevant to the deceased life . The buffet was extremely good and despite having more people attend than we had catered for there was more than enough food and everyone enjoyed it. Many thanks to Denise,Kevin and the team .

Although some reviews were mixed, my gut told me to give this restaurant a try. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by our meals. The Brie and Chutney starter was absolutely delicious! My wife enjoyed the prawns, which tasted fresh. Our roast mains were delicious and well-presented, with the option of horseradish, mint sauce, or mustard as a nice touch (I chose horseradish). I had the lamb with a sweet gravy that complemented it well, while my wife had the beef. Kevin, the owner, and the staff were hospitable and friendly, even when our son was running around. I highly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant.

My partner and I were excited to revisit the restaurant after trying the menu last week and dining at the parkside brasserie many times. Unfortunately, we were disappointed when my Yorkshire pudding was served cold and the sirloin beef roast was mostly gristle and fat, with very little edible meat. I returned the dish to the waitress, who said she would speak to the chef, but nothing was done. Another waitress offered us dessert, assuming it was to compensate for the uneatable roast. When we asked for the bill, we were still required to pay for the entire meal, even though I had sent my main course back. When the waiter came to collect payment, I explained the situation, but he didn't offer...
