The staff were not particularly friendly, the food was overpriced although some good flavours in the main meals. Wouldn’t go again.

this place is really on the hill. will not go back and would not recommend anyone else! the lights turned around 8.30 a.m. to kick out as if it was a club and eating is not where close as well as it was first.

I was disappointed. I had high expectations from a recommendation by a colleague, but I left feeling unsatisfied. I don't understand why the vegan options weren't better, especially since the vegan Indian restaurant next door is excellent. Speisekarte ansehen

Food tasted good but portion size on the chikken with sweet potato and mash was far too stingy, especially for the price and being the most expensive main at £16. It was only 4 little chikken pieces and a swipe of mash as opposed to a portion. Also had the matcha cheesecake, it wasn 't bad but there was no matcha taste and the 'cheese ' was too firm, like it had been taken out of the freezer for not very long. It wasn 't worth £10 either. It delivered quite well on taste but not on value in our opinion. Would be open to trying the other dishes though.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but unfortunately, the food lacks flavor. While the dishes are visually appealing and Instagram-worthy, I was left disappointed by a small, dry burger. This place may have been great five years ago, but there are now far better vegan options available. The prices here are far too high considering the quality. I'm willing to pay a premium for good service, but that should come with high-quality and delicious food. Given the cost of the burger, I don't understand why a better patty wasn't used. Beyond Meat retails for just £2.50 a patty, which is well within 20% of the total cost.

After booking weeks in advance for my girlfriends 30th birthday, we arrived at the restaurant to find it was closed with a hand written note pinned to the door. I had an email the day before asking to confirm my booking but no email to let me know the venue was unexpectedly closed for the evening. This was a huge disappointment and it threw off our other plans for the evening. We had both wanted to try this restaurant for a while after hearing good things but now are not so sure we'll bother to try again. Kalifornia Kitchen haven't responded to an email making a direct complaint and Opentable have given me 1000 points, which are effectively useless to me. Speisekarte ansehen
