Pleasantly surprised based on the reviews I read. Food was good, not exceptional. Service was good just not overwhelmingly friendly in comparison to other places I’ve been in Bordeaux.

We had a lovely breakfast here on our first day and returned again a few days later for another tasty breakfast. Attractive setting, very pleasant staff and our food was fresh and beautifully presented.

Stopped here for lunch one day whilst exploring Bordeaux. The restaurant is a lovely traditional restaurant by the square. We sat inside and the restaurant was nice and clean and the service was good. I went for a goats cheese salad which I must say was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant

This place was not on my list (on TripAdvisor) but I needed a breakfast and Karl was open, looking inviting enough. Because of its location I was afraid it might be a tourist trap but the staff was very pleasant, decor was cozy and the...breakfast was perfect! Petit Dejeuner Karl included drinks (I had strawberry juice and chocolat chaud), ham, cheese, pain au chocolat/bread, confiture and yogurt. All for Loved it
