Permanently closed, taking reservations, shows up as open everywhere online yet it is not. Seeing the cats through the window is the most you're getting out of coming here right now

Actually a nice location, but I would have died of thirst. We waited half an hour for a lemonade for 5 euros. That doesn't work. I then lost the food. The most beautiful thing were the kittens. Speisekarte ansehen

Wir haben heute eine Reservierung vorgenommen und auch eine Bestätigung erhalten. Als wir heute dort waren, informierte uns ein Schild und die Homepage, dass der Katzentempel dauerhaft geschlossen ist. Schade.

!Permanently closed! We wanted to visit the café today. Have made a special reservation. When we were there, there was a sign on the door saying they were permanently closed. Very disappointing. There is nothing about it on the website.

Unfortunately we didn't have any luck. None of the cats were in a cuddly mood. But you have to take that into account. We were there in the afternoon and evening to drink coffee and eat a little something. The service was very nice. Food and drinks were also very tasty. I would recommend reserving a table. Very nice and clean cafe in the Speicherstadt. The food is really delicious and the menu is varied. The highlight are of course the cats. While we were waiting for our order and also while we were eating, several of the furry friends visited us and let themselves be petted. If you like cats and fresh food, you must visit the Cat Temple!

Es ist schade, dass der Besitzer des Cat Temple die Katzen nach der Pleite des Cafés ins Tierheim gegeben hat. Tiere lediglich als Mittel zur Geldverdienung zu nutzen, ist unethisch, und es wäre die Aufgabe des Besitzers gewesen, die Katzen entweder zu behalten oder ein neues Zuhause für sie zu finden. Ich hoffe, dass dieses Café niemals wieder eröffnet.

The cat cafe is completely vegan and the atmosphere is very, very nice I also think it's good that the cats are left alone and are not forced to interact with people. Unfortunately, the food isn't that good value for money... It was tasty, but unfortunately the portion wasn't that big. I realize that the money goes to the cats, but then the portion could at least be made a little fairer. (The pumpkin and mushroom goulash really didn't fill me up... and I don't eat much else haha) Otherwise the food was really beautifully decorated and the atmosphere with music was good for hanging out with friends!
