"We had a wonderful lunch at this fantastic restaurant. The service was excellent! I had the best grilled octopus I've ever had. The spinach salad was tasty with a simple dressing that paired well with the sesame seeds and a cheesy Greek spread. A sampling of a couple of red wine options by the host, both were finely selected, and a pleasure to enjoy over conversation. The grilled pork on a skewer was seasoned and cooked tender to perfection. It was easy to finish off with the house made tzaziki. We enjoyed a baked eggplant with feta and tomato on cheesy crispy phyllo pastry. The atmosphere of this cozy well decorated restaurant paired with the fresh cuisine will have your taste buds dancing and your wallet with room for dessert. I highly recommend this as one of the best, if not the best, Greek restaurant in the Wiesbaden area. Great Job Kavos, keep up the great service and fine food!"

We sat here for a beer. Beer was warm, fried zucchini balls were nice. The owner is very friendly. Service staff also good. The food looked delicious but beer is not recommended :

Sehr schöne Grillgerichte, die empfohlene Weinauswahl war ebenfalls sehr gut. Es ist komfortabel, drinnen oder draußen zu sitzen. Wenn es sich um ein Date handelt, sollte man einen Tisch neben dem Fenster im ersten Stock reservieren.

Exceptional! Made reservations for a mid-week dinner and couldn’t have been more pleased. The food was delicious! Everything from the variety platter for appetizers, to the grilled lamb on a skewer. The salads were fresh, as well. Couldn’t have asked for better, more attentive service! We will be repeat customers for sure!

my man and I had the most amazing meal tonight. the food was incredibly fresh, and the chef went beyond to accommodate my allergies. the facility, quality of the food, jl and beautiful service made for a beautiful culinary experience. the owner selection of the weine was the icing on the cake. the grilled otopus melts in my mouth! please treat yourself to this hidden gem.

Wir hatten heute Abend ein wunderbares Abendessen. Das Personal war großartig und das Essen ebenfalls. Wir hatten eine Reservierung drinnen und die Atmosphäre war fantastisch. Die gesamte Getränkewahl war hervorragend und am Ende unserer Mahlzeit haben wir sogar kostenlosen Ouzo bekommen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall für ein weiteres „mehr als lässiges“ kulinarisches Erlebnis zurückkommen.

We stumbled across Kavos and heard they had good moussaka--that is an understatement! Really delicious! We also enjoyed the salat that came with it and a Vorspeise of calamari. Perfect! We loved the street dining and people watching as well. Wiesbaden's Altstadt is a wonderful pedestrian only stroll and Kavos is a great place to eat. And by the way, the service is excellent and they recommended very good, affordable wines.
