Khushbu Grill House

This is a grill curry Street food establishment just a few steps away from Aldgate East Tube. Brilliant food, incredibly friendly staff, amazingly reasonable prices.

I was in London for work and popped in here for lunch, I loved it if I lived near here I would be 30 stone by now.. Overall a superb 'cafe ' with an adequate selection and very tasty food.

The menu is limited. The Korai's are very good, the Pickled Chicken is decent. I'd omit the pakoras next time. Not a cheeky price and the staff do a good job...which is why I keep going back. Speisekarte ansehen

As it says we enjoyed the tikka. The lamb curry was good too. I recommend you get the large chicken tikka on the sizzling platter. Also, the garlic naan was some of the best I ever had. Really fresh and good.

I am writing this review. Only for Wednesdays lamb pilau special. It's. not your usual lamb curry and rice chucked In a pan and stirred. It's authentic layered biryani. Very nice must try. Regards Anas Jamula London.

This place looks like what it is, a basic grill and curry restaurant. What's surprising is how good the food is, and just how cheap it is. The pulao, served every Wednesday, was the standout for me. There's lots of locals, the staff seem to know plenty of regulars by name. Service is quick and friendly, so it feels welcoming, despite the sparse formica tables and hard chairs. I have been to Khushbu twice and enjoyed the experience on both occasions. The food was delicious, the service very friendly, and the place is clean and well-run. The prices are very reasonable. The menu has standard Indian Bangladeshi dishes, and if you're not looking for something fancier, this is a good place to enjoy a decent meal. The restaurant is basic, with simple dishes and chairs, no tablecloths, but everything is clean and well-maintained.

I work near this small cafe (lacking a better description). I come here probably biweekly. Today I brought my son from Canterbury to show him the area and the treats on offer. Today we had chicken and lamb korai, spiced rice, naan, bhajis, and drinks for 25. I think the food is excellent, but maybe a bit heavy on the price. However, for a delicious meal and truly friendly service, it's worth a visit. For a really tasty meal, try the tikka naan rolls for 4.50. There are other curry cafes in the area that I have visited, but this is the best I have found so far.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant, as it is the only place I frequent in Brick Lane. I have been coming here for years for a late-night kebab, and on occasions where we order a large takeaway for family gatherings, we always request freshly made food. The food tastes good, the staff are friendly, and the service is fast, but the hygiene standards are a major concern. The restaurant is small, cramped, and dirty, especially near the toilets. On my last visit, the waiter brought half-eaten sauces from another table, which was unacceptable. I hope to see improvements in hygiene and food handling practices in the future. Speisekarte ansehen
