"We've visited here a few times years ago but not since the pandemic; thankfully, it is still just as nice as it always was. We were here for lunch on a sunny Saturday and although it was busy we were seated quickly and didn't have to wait long for our food. All of us really enjoyed our meals, which were a pork chorizo burger, a spicy bean burger, and a jacket potato with cheese. There's lots of choice on the menu and it was all really tasty with generous portions. Reasonably priced, too. There's a good amount of seating inside (although it's clearly popular, so may be worth booking if you're coming a long way) and on dry/warm days there's also some tables outside. We'll definitely be back again next time we're in the area."

"We went there for the first time we were traveling for the whole day and was happy to see this restaurant there. We went there saw there were people waiting already for dine in and the waiter there were so rude to speak about the table booking. Then they straight away said to get take away with such rude and disrespectful manners .and we both husband and wife wanted to decide taking each other opinion s and then decide the food but they were making faces to that. Then they said it would take 1 hour for takeaway. TAKEAWAY means food which can be taken quickly just try to make everyone wait for 1 hour for food and then see customers feedback . I would suggest to not go this restaurant if you want a good dining experience better get takeaways from some other shops available ki kyleakin. One of them is the Chinese takeaway. "Visited the restaurant while staying at the hostel that’s another review lol was a busy night was offered some bread and butter while waiting for my order as was told it would be a while thought since they offered would be complimentary nope was charged for it I ordered the chicken breast salad at £15.95 when it arrived portion was ridiculous for the money came in a soup bowl I think picture to follow also ordered sticky toffee pudding had this choice of chocolate or strawberry ice cream £7.95 and a pint of shandy grand total £31.95 meal in my opinion should have been £20 pound maximum this place is taking advantage of the tourism in the area and getting away with it"

"Well I went off the latest recommendation that the chow mein was the best but it's not. I went just after opening and ordered king prawn Chow mein. It was ready quickly which is good but there are improvements to be made in the dish, the prawns were either from last night or very overcooked and the bean shoots are low quality. The noodles and onions were nice. The server was welcoming and talkative. Overall the meal was OK but still disappointing thinking I was on to a winner."

"While waiting for our food to be prepared, I rearranged the chairs in our 2005 Fiat Multipla. By 8 pm, we had paid £31 and were ready to find a spot to enjoy our meal. We parked at the 'Plock' at the top of Heathmount Place and unpacked our food, along with some wine. We used our own utensils as they only provided plastic knives and forks, no chopsticks. Despite being the only Chinese restaurant in town, the dishes exceeded our expectations. The seafood and vegetables in black bean sauce were delicious, with squid, king prawns, and mussels. The soup was flavorful, and the vegetables were fresh and crunchy. One of my friends was disappointed with his Thai Red Curry, as it didn't taste authentic. The King Pho king prawn dish had good spice but wasn't as hot as what we're used to in London. The fried rice, though an extra 50p, was worth it as the plain rice was a bit sticky. We had leftovers for breakfast, including rice and soup, and hadn't even touched our prawn crackers. Overall, this hidden gem of a local Chinese restaurant is worth a visit if all other options fail, especially if you haven't made reservations in advance."
