"Disappointed for good gifts: the other years we could choose between different formulas for 2 people, this year no choice offered, an amount to choose 2 propositions) and this amount is written on the gift voucher, we do not know how many people or if it is for a menu or other, a bit delicate to offer for Christmas and more formulas like other years. The voucher is not fully documented: only the amount and reference are more of the gift card than the voucher. It's a shame I liked to offer a formula in this restaurant. On the other hand, the gift card is pretty."

It is impossible to stay in the indoor room at 30°C without ventilation.Nothing serious if it is the plate 'scampi à l'indienne immangeable: the cream was very sour to see perished (or affected by the summer temperature?) despite our remarks and the plate left blank, no favors or compromises were proposed. As a result, you have been in bad faith and have lost 4 loyal customers and of course negative advertising that goes with it."

"We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) and stayed at Hotel Spa Les Violettes for 2 nights during our visit to Europa-Park. After the crazy excitement at Europa-Park, it was a treat to sleep in tranquil surroundings. What most stands out to us was the extra effort that the friendly restaurant staff took to cater for our vegetarian diets. The food was very delicious. Thank you so much. The breakfast buffet selection includes different pastries and breads with butter, jams etc, sausages, eggs (scrambled and boiled), crepes, American pancakes (incl. maple syrup to drizzle), fruits, cold meats, yogurts, fresh orange juice, coffee/tea/hot chocolate. This is not an exhaustive list but you get the gist of what's on offer. We were given directions to our room which we found relatively easily. The way was marked pretty clearly. We were not offered help with our luggage but we are 4 healthy and strong individuals so there was no need for help. The reception was covered with only 1 staff member (it was later in the evening, around 19:00) and she had to take care of another couple who arrived shortly after we did, so it was not a problem at all for us. The room we stayed in was clean, quiet and comfortable and among the complimentary items were even a toothbrush set and shaving set. These are not common features in most 4-star hotels and were a pleasant surprise. The room included an ironing board and iron which I also haven't seen that often in other 4-star hotels. The hair/body wash and conditioner have a lovely fragrance and are really good products and we even purchased some shampoo to take home with us. The view from our room was breathtaking with the hills in front of us and the hotel garden and spa below. The balcony was large too. The spa is simply wonderful. We did not take any advantage of the beauty treatments on offer but we did enjoy the pool, sauna etc which left us feeling revitalised. Look out for the gorgeous mirror with a frame made of tree branches on your way to the restaurant and the beautiful blue ceiling lamp at the top of the stairs when going to the restaurant. The statues outside are really special too. There was also a hand cart outside filled with meadow flowers growing very happily. Thank you Hotel Spa Les Violettes for giving our family such a lovely experience"

"À première vue le restaurant en tant que tel est beau et typique à la région.L'accueil y est simple et agréable, vous payerez 17.90€ pour un menu à volonté, je le qualifierais plutôt de self que de restaurant. La nourriture est correcte pour ce genre de cuisine mais sans plus.Vous aurez une animation de cinq minutes qui vous raconteras le quotidien des moines avec des petits objets au murs qui s'animent, les trois quarts ne marchent pas et l'histoire est sans intérêt.Conclusion pas de lieu typique, juste un lieu touristique sans intérêt gustatif."

"Restaurant chaleureux dans lequel nous sommes toujours très bien accueilli.Bon choix de menu... dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de spécial poisson mais c'est un détail.Si vous avez faim, optez pour les menus (les portions sont aussi conséquente qu'à la carte, ce qui est une bonne surprise).Cuisine traditionnelle mais plutôt bonne. Les plats sont servis avec des frites et spaetzle (parfois un tantinet grasses mais cette fois-ci très bonnes).En soirée l'établissement propose des tartes flambées.Enfin, laissez vous tenter par un dessert et notamment le gratin de fraises qui est à tomber... Et pour les grosses faims, préférez les profiteroles!Bref, même si tout n'est pas parfait, vous ressortirez de cet établissement avec la sensation d'avoir passé un agréable moment... Un peu comme à la maison!"
